Please pray for me, my battle with masturbation and acne. Please.

I am a teenage boy being exposed to the world. For some time now I have started the bad habit of masturbating. I used to tell myself that it was fine but i always felt guilty afterwards. i havent told anyone but my father notices something wrong and so he encourages me to read the Bible and pray more often. I thought it was fine until i tried to quit and then I realized I was addicted. During this lockdown, i doubt i have gone a single day without doing it.

I think this is leading to my severe acne. This is extremely awful and i have lost all self confidence and cant talk to anyone with my head up. I think my acne is God's way of telling me to stop. I absolutely hate it. I go the whole day without mastrubating but just a single lingerie ad on tv or something can cause me to fail. my acne and my masturbation are my biggest problems. Please please pray for me. I need to find God. Please.

Do a web search for masturbation and acne. Health experts all agree that it had no effect on acne. They tend to start at the same time.

Masturbation in itself probably isn't an issue. It's one even evangelicals disagree about, but there's no particular Biblical basis. It's really hard to suppress something. The harder you concentrate on trying, the more you think about the thing, and the worse it gets. It's probably best not to worry too much, and spend your effort on developing healthier interests and activities.

Boy most of us men have been there and what you are experiencing is normal. That is acne and masturbation. Firstly acne is caused by hormonal changes that cause oil glands in your pores to produce too much oil. Most teenagers have some degree of it. I know I did. Many believers have mixed opinions on masturbation ,but in most cases while going through puberty it is unavoidable. I believe it is wrong since it is sexual conduct outside marriage and the guilt proves it, but on the flip side there is nothing really you can do other than staying away form any stimulation and asking God deliver you from it. People usually stop in one of two scenarios: You get miraculously delivered from it or they get old enough and marry. So it may be with you for a long time, but don't despair and condemn yourself,just ask for forgiveness every time. God still loves you ,just hang on to Him and stay away from watching inappropriate contentography and pre-marrital sex. If you do commit any of those things immediately repent, but I won't lie, God will forgive you, but it will really hurt you afterwards.

It's easy to forget that beneath all of the guilt driven thoughts and sanctimonious teachings that masturbation is just a bodily function - and if you want to get clinical about it, a VERY important tool when checking both prostate and testicular health, because sperm condition will tell you a lot - just as urine and other bodily fluids will. (All men should do it for this reason alone, as well as carry out other routine checks.)

However, the lustful aspect of it is a good thing to overcome. It's a major major distraction from not only your own life purpose, but it's also cheating you out of seeing women for what they really are.

Now that I'm getting close to 30, I feel like more of a uncle to society, and less of a rampant sex addict (I was the latter once upon a time - don't worry about that) and therefore feel a sense of responsibility in how I conduct myself. After all, I am now at an age where women in their late teens early twenties look to people like me for advice. I can NOT afford to abuse that.

I also have a female friend in the inappropriate content industry, and know from talking to her that it's a very bleak existence. A body to her, is as matter of fact as a bank statement is to you. The work is often very tiring and actually quite boring.

I believe everyone deals with masturbation at one point or the other. It usually starts at the onset of adolescence when you become more aware of your reproductive organs and stimulation, the inflow of hormones also have a lot to do with it. I think you should try to stay away from every visual stimulant, try to occupy your thoughts with other things too. Read bible and more of spiritual books. Also, pray to God and I will also pray with you.
As your the Acne outbreak it also has a lot to do with onset of adolescence, find the perfect skin care routine that works for you and eat healthy.
For your self confidence, do not feel lesser than any human. Keep your head up and you will be fine. God will help you

remember.. no one can control you. No on..nothing can. Christ gave you all the power you need. It is a simple choice. No fallen angel no demon.. not even God can go against your will. Go for a walk.. take a COLD shower. LOL when were young its.. not easy. He knows this

T.V. is a major trap for many. Who says you have to watch it? I was told to give up T.V. years ago. Only with prayer did this happen, and I have not missed it since. T.V. is overflowing with unrighteous, Christian values mocking, messages and images. It's not for you. "Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." We cannot play with fire and expect to not be burned. I pray you will put your eyes and mind on righteous things.

As for the acne, there are so many people out there who are addicted to inappropriate content and the vast majority do not have it. Sometimes we can find answers to our problems in natural ways by searching on the net. Sometimes medical help is needed. I pray you will be led to the solution that is right for you.

I pray for your freedom from acne and from masturbation.

Please pray for me, my battle with masturbation and acne. Please.
