These pull ropes are on every garage door. Bubba the BLM supporter just flat out lied and the group got a lot of attention and sympathy for it. I have two ropes hanging from my garage doors, maybe they should come for me next.

I've seen hundreds of pull ropes and never seen one quite like that one. In fact, any half intelligent person that has dealt with industrial accidents would point out the injury potential of that "loop". there should be a handle or merely a knot on the end of the rope.

Mine look just like that. It's the same on every one of their garage doors all the way down the line. Would you seriously walk in that garage and think a hate crime had been committed?

No, and I don't think so about this one, either. Nor would I think some BLM Psychic Commando put it there in October.

Just pointing out the fact a decent industry safety inspector (or liability consultant) would write it up as deficient.

NASCAR's Bubba Wallace Was Not The Target Of A Hate Crime, FBI Says

The noose was there before they got to the garage (number 4) based on photo evidence. But I am betting not every garage has a pull rope like that, so it would have been a surprise to the team.

NASCAR is still investigating why it was tied like that, which tells me that pull rope is not standard in those garages.

I would love to look the guy who found it in the eye and see him explain why he saw this as hate. He obviously had no business being in a garage. This was a planned hoax. Bubba smollett.

The only reason I can see why some people don't get it is that they don't have a garage. Every door is tied the same. Uniformity. There is no way this guy didn't look around and see all the others.

I have a garage and had one in my last house and have friends with garages. I also have a repair shop I go to. I have never seen one like that.

But, that in and of itself doesn't make it an intentional act. Like I said, it is a good way to injure a finger, hand or wrist in an industrial setting where the doors are bigger and heavier.

I don't think it is as widely prevalent as you say. Otherwise, there would not be the complaint and NASCAR would not be looking into it.

Now it is possible that this garage door pull broke, was replaced by a rope and then someone tied what looks like a noose at the end for better grip. But that is just conjecture since I don't have evidence of what the rest of the garage door pulls look like at that track.

Someone posted video of the garages on YouTube last night. All doors all the way down the line were the same.
