Explain the grading system. How can a student who is capable of maxing a course wind up with a C grade, or worse?

It was a general observation, nothing in particular.
The 'educated' are a 'cloister' who live in an intellectual ivory tower. Nothing has divided the American people as has higher education. Not race, sexual orientation, politics, religion, or income.

How about a fourth option: Make education practical (and less expensive). Less theory and more application. Kinda like an apprenticeship.
The bible has a great example, of a man 'proving' his team of oxen. He knew they were oxen, but he had to prove that they would work in his fields. Much of what is taught in school doesn't work in real life.
