I have a few questions about the resurrection.

Okay so I just had a few really interesting thoughts and questions. One, how does the resurrection work exactly? Two, can God resurrect a cremated body if a person decides to become cremated and there's literally nothing left of their ashes? Okay, the second question is an obvious yes. The bible says that all of the dead wicked and righteous will be resurrected and judged but, how is it possible for those who are cremated? Like... lets say they were scattered at sea or a ticked off wife decided to flush her cheating husbands ashes down the toilet and all of his ashes were destroyed by the water and sewer line. How can that person be resurrected? There are no remains left to resurrect them. There's no DNA or anything making them a person or body anymore.

And I'm kind of confused as to how resurrection works. The bible gives us a clue when Christ resurrected two people from the dead. He used his voice, like how God created everything that we know of with just his voice but, when we're all resurrected and judged are we just going to hear the voice of God? How will this work when our spirits are in heaven like is the popular belief in SO many different Christian denominations... I'm just confused.

How does the resurrection work exactly?
Can you be more specific? I do not think any of us can explain the physics of resurrection. What are you asking about, specifically?

The bible says that all of the dead wicked and righteous will be resurrected and judged but, how is it possible for those who are cremated?
God made the first human out of earth dust. He made the second from a rib. He incarnated His son inside a woman using only the Holy Spirit and it is twice reported He can make people from rocks. Why do you think it is a problem for God to reconstruct a person from ash?
There are no remains left to resurrect them. There's no DNA or anything making them a person or body anymore.
Matter is never wholly destroyed. It is simply broken down into other forms.
And I'm kind of confused as to how resurrection works. The bible gives us a clue when Christ resurrected two people from the dead. He used his voice, like how God created everything that we know of with just his voice but, when we're all resurrected and judged are we just going to hear the voice of God? Those two people were resuscitated, not resurrected. People brought back from the dead here on earth still die later.

The resurrection is a stumbling block to the Jew and foolishness to the Greek. It is a matter of faith. We believe God when he says He will raise us. The Bible is not a physics text book so it doesn't not explain the physics or physical mechanics of reconstituting body, soul, and spirit once decayed in the grave, spread out and dissolved in the ocean, or blown up in an explosion.

Scripture does not tell us how this event will manifest. Every person who ever lived on the earth will be resurrected. It is safe to say that most will be in dust form scattered throughout the planet.
By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."
That being said maybe it is best to go back to the beginning when we were just dust.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

The first resurrection.

We are given NEW bodies.

Mankind was created from dust ... look at it in the sense of "reverse creation".

We come from dust .... we return to dust.

Ecclesiastes 3

From Dust to Dust

16Furthermore, I saw under the sun that in the place of judgment there is wickedness, and in the place of righteousness there is wickedness. 17I said in my heart, “God will judge the righteous and the wicked, since there is a time for every activity and every deed.”

18I said to myself, “As for the sons of men, God tests them so that they may see for themselves that they are but beasts.” 19For the fates of both men and beasts are the same: As one dies, so dies the other—they all have the same breath.a Man has no advantage over the animals, since everything is futile. 20 All go to one place; all come from dust, and all return to dust.

21Who knows if the spirit (breath of life) of man rises upward and the spirit (breath of life) of the animal descends into the earth? 22I have seen that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will come after him?

What returns to God is the breath of life (His energy that sustains life) ... not some conscious immortal "spirit" of some kind. We do not become immortal in any way until He returns. (1 Corinthians 15:51-55)

There are (and have been since creation) records (books) of everyone's life being kept in heaven. Those in Christ, will be covered by His blood and we will be seen as perfect. Any
"good" that was found in us (in the book) is from Christ and will remain ... anything "not good" will be tossed aside, not seen ... nor remembered (because of Christ).

The judgement takes place before Christ returns. Judgement is in accordance with what are written in the books (not a physical appearance of us). The saved names are written in the book of life.

Revelation 22

10And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11“Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.”

12“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. 13“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

When He returns at the first resurrection, we get new bodies ... what they are exactly, we do not know (Ecclesiastes above) ... but we know we will be like Him. A "glimpse" of this is the event of His transfiguration (Matthew 17) and from His appearances to the apostles (Luke 24:36-49).

1 John 3

New International Version
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

He is God Almighty ... the creator of everything and is unlimited in power and glory.

There is nothing he can't do! NOTHING!

In short, you are applying "some" knowledge about life to God and comparing that to the POWER of God and that is futile thinking.

20) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21) Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.
Philippians 3:20-21

Cremated bodies are not a problem when the One who created us is planning on giving a new glorious body fashioned after Christ our Firstfruit(s):
20) But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the Firstfruits of them that slept.
21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23) But every man in his own order: Christ the Firstfruits; afterwards they that are Christ at His Coming.
I Corinthians 15:20-23

As our Firstfruit(s) Christ Jesus conquered death and gave all who believe in Him power over death. Giving us the promise that at His Second Coming we all shall be changed into His Glory; I John 3:1-2; I Corinthians 13:10

I have understood it is not the same body. It is spiritual body, like in this:

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.
1 Cor. 15:44

I don’t think that needs the old body parts but I may be wrong about this.
