It sounds so silly to request prayers for my wisdom teeth, but I do know the power of prayer is strong and my anxiety is high right now. Next week I have to get a problematic wisdom tooth removed at 29 weeks pregnant so I will have to be awake with only novocaine. Please pray that the removal is quick and painless and that I heal fast with little to no pain. Of course, the biggest request of all is that my baby remains completely safe and healthy inside my womb. In Jesus's name, Amen.

If it helps, I had my wisdom teeth removed years ago and have had a couple of more extractions since then. The worst part about it, as you mentioned, is the anxiety you feel before it's done. You'll be fine. :)

I’m sorry to hear this. Will pray for a quick oral surgery and no pain afterwards.

Had two taken out in the Army. They only used Novocain. There is a lot of yanking and twisting but did not feel a thing. My jaw was a bit sore when the Novocain wore off but took over the counter Motrin (dentist recommended) as was good to go in two days.

I would just ask the dentist and your doctor what works best for pain relief for you and baby.

Best advice is be calm and loose as a noodle. Don’t clinch your jaw or have your body resist as much as possible. This will make the job easier for the dentist and you won’t have much soreness and pain later.

God bless!

I never noticed this before. When we are to pray for the "Peace of God" Paul gives us a list of things we are to think about. So we replace our negative thoughts with positive thoughts: what is right, true, honorable, pure, lovey, excellent, praiseworthy and admirable. If we get our mind busy thinking these thoughts we will not have time to worry. We put it under the blood of Jesus so the enemy can not put negative thoughts in our head.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things" (Phil4:7)

This is a good scripture to meditate on. I use to have that scripture on my tool box at work to remind me what to meditate on. They are usually pretty good at calming people down once they get there.
