I'm not sure of any other system of government we could have that would be better. But that's what "of the people, by the people" means. I suppose it would be better if it were done by the will of God, but then it would take a group of theologians to vote on what that is. Heck, even Christians here on this site can't agree on what that is, and we all read the same bible.

Democracy is not an opinion. It has a specific definition that I already copied off the Internet.
I still have not seen you copy and paste the phrase "democracy is evil" from the Bible itself. Until you do, you have no right to claim democracy is evil. If "democracy iis evil" is not in the Bible, it is not evil,

You seem to really be seeking , for real, God's Way, and I think that (or hope?) that you really are seeking His Way as much as possible. This is a difficult thing to do / to accomplish/ pretty much everywhere, including online. There is in a back shelf of my memory so to speak an old lesson about God's Government which I think clearly shows the difference between God Ruling and men ruling, and what God Says , in His Word, clear and simple, about this. IF I CAN FIND IT..... Yahuweh Willing, I'll send a copy or url or whatever for you to peruse/ look over. There's no strings attached (no fishing line either)(I don't think there's any hooks either, just fresh (LIVING) water and good food /bread?/ from God's Word )
From scripture, I know that God used to speak directly to a representative of His people, and they would tell the people what they were to do. It started with Moses, who was later replaced by Joshua. I'm not well-versed on what transpired after that, but it's in the book of Judges and beyond.
As long as God speaks directly to whoever is appointed to be God's representative to a nation, I don't know how God would directly rule a nation. Of course, Christians have God in their personal lives, but that's completely different than having Him rule a nation. About the closest you can come to that is to elect a person who is, or claims to be, a Christian to be president. Short of that, you can vote for whoever at least respects religious rights, or at the very least has values closest to that of Christians.

The phrase "democracy is evil" is not in the Bible. Politics is not in the Bible.
Democracy has never been about money. If you took a government class in high school, you would know that.

And please, forgive me if I am wrong, but it seems as if you’re saying
“Since we already know that there can only be one correct choice, (which as Christians, ought to be self-evident, ‘the will of God’!), then putting things and people up for a vote by everyone (legally eligible), you will find that, as time goes on, we get further and further away from God’s will. Therefore, obviously, democracy=leads AWAY from God and is, as such, evil!”

Per Vindman's testimony, at least one set of ellipses did replace spoken words (see page 53 of the testimony transcript).

No, I am telling you what everybody involved knows. You can't possibly write English and think there isn't another reason ellipses are used in that paragraph. An eliipse is part of English syntax and therefore only a fact, not subject to anyone's personal opinion. In addition, the context is obvious.

Alexander Vindman knew every word Donald Trump said and wrote down all of them.
He also said the edits include replacing "Burisma" with "the company" and, again, wrote that down.
So anyone who denies there is proof the released transcript was edited must have never seen it.
