If you really believe a doctored and heavily edited "transcript" that has already been brought into question by "ear-witnesses" exonerates Trump, every defense lawyer in the country will be trying to get you on their juries.

I see you're rather new here with just a little over 15,000 posts, but you should know that it's against the rules of the site to use terms such as "Trumpets" to label people. It's known as goading.
I do apologize. My phone autocorrected to that. I'm gonna go edit it.

When he said: "After the election, I will release my taxes", I didn't know he was lying at the time, but in retrospect, it is obvious.

I remember Donald Trump promised Hillary Clinton to release his tax returns when she releases all of her thirty-something thousand deleted emails (and got the number wrong).

How does your phone autocorrect the name of the world's most powerful man? Trump is an English word.

I just learned about that rule myself.

I never said it was 37%.

Oops, sorry, wrong guy - mixed up the quotes.

But either way, it's not the "overwhelming majority of Americans" we keep hearing about from the MSM.

Speaking of which, who are you quoting here?

Then the entire impeachment process is just a political stunt.
Weird how so many of Donald's employees are going along with it, then. I mean, they're even jumping in after they testified to add additional extra details of how Donald broke the law.

No, what's disgusting is watching a sizable portion of the electorate continue to lower and lower the bar for what behavior is acceptable as Trump continuously exceeds his previous low.

Oh, how we long for the days when the worst he had done was to brag about being able to grab women by the privates because, when you're a celebrity, you can get away with anything.

What's disgusting to me is the constant consistent attacks against the man and full acceptence of allegations, when they haven't been proven to be true. If it's negative the leftists believe it lock stock and barrel.

Not only that but they also believe that if Trump stood in the middle of the street and murdetered someone that we would all support him. It just further proves that the leftists think the Trump voters are deporables.

And we wonder why the country is divided and who is dividing.

Is it really any different than how Republicans believe any and everything that is alleged about the Clintons; particularly things like "Uranium One" and "Benghazi" which Republicans investigated to death, but could find no wrongdoing? Somehow, though most Republicans seem to remain convinced that Clinton is guilty of crimes in those events.

I'm not saying there aren't things to criticize about Clinton, I never liked her. I'm saying that both sides tend to think the things they "dump" in their toilet smell like beautiful perfume.

Where did you get this silly idea from? A Democrat did beat Trump in the November 2016 election. It was only because of our stupid electoral college system that he is in the White House. More voters wanted the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, to be President. That is a fact.

Since Day 1 everyone has known Trump interfered with the election process by soliciting help from Russia and getting it.

Prove it. It was already investigated and found no evidence of such a thing. Prove that Russia actually interfered in the election and changed votes.

Under the Constitution, the House can impeach Trump for anything whatever they can get a majority of Representatives to agree on. They could impeach him because they don't like his haircut if they wanted. Whether they will impeach him is, of course, another question.

So you help make our point. Just because they may impeach him doesn't actually mean he did anything wrong. They could impeach him just cause they felt like it. That's why we have checks and balances on stuff like this.

Obstruction of justice occured when Donald Trump fired James Comey, who was investigating him for the Russian cullusion scandal at the time. A majority of voters agreed in polls Trump obstructed justice. Also, law school professors and private lawyers agreed if Trump obstructed justice, it was an impeachable act - and that he did exactly that. So everyone who was closely paying attention knew why Trump fired Comey even before the nationally-televised testimony under oath.

It can't be obstruction when Trump had the authority to fire Comey for any reason or no reason at all. Comey said that himself. And it hasn't been proven that Trump fired him to prevent the investigation.

"...and changed votes." There is no evidence that the Russians actually tampered with the vote count. However they did make systematic illegal attempts to influence popular opinion. That was the conclusion of the Mueller investigation.

Except that he said so on national TV.

I don't wonder why the country is dividing. I've witnessed the hatred and the vitriol coming from the right for over a decade. Trump is the manifestation of that hate.

Have you never changed your mind?

If I make a promise, and later think it's a bad idea, I still follow through with my promise. Changing my mind about whether it's a good idea or not doesn't relieve me of my obligation.

Not only did he promise to release his taxes and then not do so, he also claimed that he kept all of his campaign promises. That is yet another lie.

He lies, lies, and lies again, and you continue to justify them "Have you ever changed your mind?" rather than acknowledge that it's crystal clear that he lied. And then you turn around and act incredulous that we don't think him shooting someone one lose him support. Just now, you justified another lie by Trump. Why should I expect your behavior to suddenly change?
