Bernie is the only contender and that is because he tells people he is giving away free money. I saw a line at McDonald's three times around the building because people wanted beanie babies. How much more if people are in line for Bernie bucks.
Where does the line start? Or will we just get a national health care plan, affordable housing, affordable education, and a less polluted environment? I’ll get in that line, if someone starts one.

I believe you are mistaken. It has been known in certain circles for quite some time that the original designers of the Doral indeed intended it as a future winter whitehouse. The signs are there if you seek the wisdom to discern.

As with an earlier poster, I think that you are confusing this property with Mar-a-Lago, which was envisaged by its original builder as a future ‘Winter White House’...

Funny that there was no clause that if people wanted to buy weapons of mass destruction from Hillary that they had to pay Bill an extravagant speakers fee to listen to him brag on himself. There does not seem to be an issue with her daughter making a million dollars a year to manage all of those donations.

Changing the subject doesn't make it go away. Donald explicitly said that the Constitution doesn't apply to him because he's rich. The loyalty his followers show him would indicate he's right.

mammon has spoken.

Biden who? Warren who?

If you're not going to inform yourself about your choices, you have nobody to blame but yourself.

What people say and what people say they say is not the same thing. Esp in this day and age of false news when integrity seems to be a thing of the past. What surprises me are the old new reporters that were around in the old days. Why they could not maintain the standard they use to have and why they were so quick to sell out to the devil.

Bernie draws a lot of people to his events. So maybe that is where the line starts. My son insists that if you want to prosper you have to work hard for it. Amazon pays workers $15 an hour ($31,200 a year) and computer programmers $130,000 a year. For an extra $100,000 a years there are people willing to work hard to get a degree in computer engineering so they can qualify to make more money.

Donald's words are a matter of public record... his own, in fact, as he was speaking to a group of reporters when he said it.

You'd think he'd know better by now?

Because they refused to sell out to Donald. Who is going to teach them the error of their ways?

In your opinion.... aren't you worried about projection?
I do not worry about it. It is nice when people call me on it because then I know they understood what I was talking about.

He is what he is and you get what you get.

Has the notion of improvement or redemption has been abandoned by Christians? Are there now two perfect, sinless people in their lives?

True enough - if you elect a lying, self-dealing businessman with contempt for laws and regulations, you get a lying, self-dealing president with contempt for laws and regulations. All those waiting for Donald to become "presidential" have given up that fantasy.

*Donald has admitted in his books that he has broken laws.

So you could have said you don't know. I was going to say you could have said you have no idea but clearly you did have the idea that it might be because he was breaking the law. If he is so sure what he's doing is OK then why is he changing? Quite obviously he's not comfortable, at least, that what he's doing is OK. More likely he's aware he's breaking the law and knows he will be held accountable. You had a good idea but I suppose heaven forbid someone admit Trump might be doing something wrong.

I believe what I said " There are any number of reasons one might change." amounted to saying I don't know and I am not going to pretend I do. I have no problem admitting that Trump has and will do wrong things. I have criticized Trump on threads in the past and will do so again in the future whenever he warrants it. I do wonder if it is possible for some that post in CF to ever admit that something Trump did was not wrong? Just not altogether wrong. I am convinced they would never be able to say he did something right.

Sure, his First Step Act was good. Also his commutation of Alice Marie Johnson's sentence.

They can laugh all they want. What they do is not of much relevance to my salvation nor of to how I prosper or fail to prosper.

And yet, you gotta admit, the notion of politicians as regular people who need not be deified or demonized is a real knee-slapper...

Yep, does not matter. This whole forum seems to be all about people venting their sour grapes trying to come to terms with the fact that they are going to have to endure 4 more years of Donald Trump. Which gives me the opportunity to tell the fence sitters that this is a done deal and Trump is best the best for the job even if the pickings are rather slim this time around. If nothing else he seems to be putting money in everyone's pocket. Liberals are mad they have too work for that money and it is not free. The world is in a state of transition. Satan is losing his grip and God is taking control. This is a gradual process with people still able to choose if they want to walk in love and go to heaven or not
As told in Two Corinthians...

Put Trump's tweet into Google Translate and it says, "Miami is slow in June. Doral only has a 40% occupancy rate. But I can hold the G7 there and make a pile of dough. Only problem is that honest, responsible journalists reported this to the public, and legislators of conscience and integrity reminded everyone that I was violating the Constitution. Back to my drawing board in bed surrounded by empty cheeseburger wrappers."
