Is it possible for allergies to only effect one ear but not the other?

It is possible to have wax in one ear and not in the other. Go see your doctor and get them cleaned out. DO NOT go digging in your ear with a Q-tip or anything else because you will end up packing it in deeper and risk hurting your ear drum.

Yes, its possible.

Not likely. An allergy that would affect your ears would be a systemic reaction which means it is a system wide reaction which would happen on both sides of the body. Something like a skin allergy where only the akin touched reacts is a localized reaction and only affects a specific area. A systemic reaction might seem like it is on one side more than the other if you sleep primarily on one side so the extra fluids drain primary to one side.
