Responding to a mini fracas set off by his recent declaration that he considers it "an honor when Americans are attacking me," Pope Francis told reporters during an inflight news conference Tuesday that the U.S. is not his only source of heartburn. "Criticism comes not only from the Americans, they're coming from all over...

Interesting list. When I see Argentina on the list though, I tend to think it's for the wrong reasons (i.e. progressives not satisfied by how far His Holiness has already gone). I just have that image from a few years ago of the female protestor in Buenos Aires, dressed as the Blessed Virgin, aborting our Lord seared into my memory and that may forever shape my opinion of Argentina.

The write up on Italy though, wow! I didn't know Archbishop Negri said those things, that's hardcore! I can't say I haven't heard that amongst other Catholics though.

Was it Madonna on the filming of Evita? ^_^ :sorry: you can report me for my rude humour again if you like. ^_^

That scenario from Archbishop Negri was over the top and embarrassing imo.

My RCIA sponsor said something similar a while back. Not involving Mother Mary, but just generally wishing he was out of the picture.

Unless he steps down, and he has not ruled that out for himself...that means one thing.

Then we'll have three popes once more. How isnt this a scandal and a disgrace? This papacy is a disgrace, lets not make any mistake. That being said for it to culminate with a third pope who's likely to be even worse than Francis is a nightmare.
I'm sure its gonna be a staged conclave with a hyper- heretical pope elected in the end.
