Noting that Hillary was not exonerated. James Comey made it clear that Hillary had committed crimes.
The question of whether her emails went to China may forever remain unknown. The is just one more instance of questionable dealings by the Clintons ... and a good illustration of why private email servers were against state department policy.

Then why was she not charged and jailed? If that's the measure you use to defend Trump (that Mueller didn't bring charges) then why would the rules be different for Hillary?
And yet Jared Kushner and Ivanka appear to use unsecured personal systems to conduct state business.
You see, this is what people mean by "hypocrisy".

Pedantic over-parsing it seems. The left says there was no "criminal conspiracy". (And why should I argue with that?) The right says there was no Russia collusion. Regardless, there seems to be no point in mincing words further here. Mueller made clear that there was no evidence to justify criminal charges being brought against Trump in Congress on the matter of Russia collusion.

He also pointed out when he went in front of a congressional committee that seeking foreign help is a crime.
He could not prove there was criminal conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt as in a court case - but he found a willingness to commit conspiracy. There was no exoneration. Instead, he put it in the hands of the congress along with the obstruction as they are the ones that need to decide on impeachment. They are doing an impeachment inquiry now.
But if they impeach, it then goes to the Republican controlled Senate and they will pick party over everything.

What I think remarkable about that post is it was posted Aug. 2018, nearly 2 years after election. The only thing that makes sense is Republicans don't like talking about Trump.
Trump may not be done with his legal troubles. The NYSD appears to have plenty on him but might be waiting for him to leave office. The obstruction thing in the Mueller report, never said Trump was not guilty. They said it was not the place of the DOJ to prosecute. But what if he were just a civilian?
The election will be a shoot out, political debate in 2020 will be divisive, contentious and pedantic. In the end the campaign is usually decided in October, often caused by an October surprise. Trump is vulnerable to legal issues, his family has not remained innocent in all this.

It doesn't really matter what the Senate does. Democrats must convince the American public that high crimes were committed by Trump. That seems unlikely given that they have no evidence of such.
If Democrats fail to convince the American public of substantial misdeeds by Trump then it is Democrats who will get punished at the ballot box. Party officials know this very well. After all, Bill Clinton was impeached but the American public was not convinced that his misdeeds rose to the level of needing to be removed from office.
At this point everything is about the 2020 election. That's the avenue Democrats have for removing Trump from office. Impeachment talk seems to be just that, and nothing more, despite however much Democrats keep hoping for a John Dean to emerge.

The reason she didn't go to prison years ago is because she's Hillary Clinton.
Other than mishandling classified information. That concerns what she did with that information. What the Chinese or anyone else did with it is immaterial. It's not about who hacked the servers, it's about her failure to follow proper security procedures...

Hillary was a concern to me about Emails. But at least she didn't put sensitive and crazy things on his Twitter account. That can endanger people.

No, that's not Clinton - far more apropos to Donald.
No, that's the reason right-wingers and conspiracy theorists have been calling for her head for thirty years. The reason she didn't go to prison is because she hasn't been charged with any crime let alone convicted.
What do you think she did?
The Chinese didn't do anything with it because they didn't have it. No one did hack the servers. She should have followed proper procedures instead of listening to Sec. Powell and doing as he did. Oh well.

That is a GREAT graphic! It's truly lol-worthy. Because it's true! Just look, we recently let a multi "billionaire" off of charges of obstruction of justice that would have gotten anyone else a couple decades in prison!
Same guy previously "bought" his way out of a fraud charge and earlier "bought" his way out of a discriminatory housing charge!
Rich people like him really get away with crimes that poor people and people of color would spend the better part of the next half century in jail for!
Well, you can't discount the GOP for failing to find anything they could charge her with, but we get it. In America it's "Guilty until the right investigation finally FINDS SOMETHING to charge them with!"
Better tell Jared and Ivanka...they also use unsecured apps and private servers! But they're not Hillary so I guess it's OK.

And why are so many members of the Trump administration continuing to use private emails? And why does President Trump have a personal phone that he might use to make business calls--for all we know? If Republicans have been so concerned about Hillary's emails (even though both Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell did the same thing?) why are they doing exactly what she did?
I imagine that China might find Trump emails and phone calls much more interesting (if they find a good translator to interpret his disjointed and garbled phrases, something which has beengiving translators trouble.)
