Europe also believes less in god than we do and does not enjoy as much of our problem with violence.

Europe: less God and less Guns. Less violence.

Clearly the problem is video games.

Well, since we're just asking questions without offering any answers,

The answers are so obvious in the case of gun violence in America. But it would threaten our real god. And we can't have anyone threaten the almighty gun from whom all bullets flow.

It's always good to compare the US to third world and less developed nations when trying to understand why we are so different from every single other first world and developed western nation on the globe. To compare ourselves against nations that are even remotely like us would mean we are in danger of going up against our real god.

Noting that no other developed nation on earth has so many people from third world nations as the United States. Not one comes close.

Have you heard of MS-13? It is a violent gang in the United States from 3rd-world countries. Are you aware of inner city gangs? Those gangs kill hundreds every weekend across the country.

Huh...so how many of the mass shooters, say, in the past month have been from third world countries?

Oh, no! The guy in El Paso was lilly white full-on American! Oh noes!

Have you heard of MS-13? It is a violent gang in the United States from 3rd-world countries.

LOL. MS 13 was formed in US prisons among immigrants from central America. After they became dangerous thugs IN AMERICAN PRISONS we dumped 'em back in Central America about the same time we were busy "fightin' the commies" and systematically destroying those countries' economies resulting in a power vacuum filled by...you guessed it...dangerous thugs and criminals and...MS-13!

Are you aware of inner city gangs? Those gangs kill hundreds every weekend across the country.

And they're all foreigners from third world nations?

Well, since we're just asking questions without offering any answers, allow me to do so as well.

Here's a listing of murder rate by country and region of the world. List of countries by intentional homicide rate - Wikipedia

I note that South America, Central America, Africa, the Caribbean, and the mideast all have generally higher murder rates than the United States, some very much higher.

One wonders what they all have in common, if anything, that relates to the willingness to murder others.

I'm not really interested in a guessing game. The belief in God certainly isn't the issue. Poverty I would assume but who knows what your angling at.

Why don't you actually make your points instead of squeamishly hinting at them?

One might ask why the top six countries for gun-related deaths all reside in the Americas....

Half of all gun-related deaths in 2016 occurred in six nations — Brazil, the United States, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and Guatemala. Together, the study published in the journal JAMA noted, these countries hold less than 10 percent of the world’s population.

There’s a new global ranking of gun deaths. Here’s where the U.S. stands

Trump also said:

"We must stop the glorification of violence in our society.

“any guy who can do a body slam, he is my type!”
"In the second grade I actually gave a teacher a black eye — I punched my music teacher because I didn't think he knew anything about music and I almost got expelled."
"If you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them, would you? Seriously, OK? Just knock the hell ... I promise you I will pay for the legal fees."
"When you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just seen them thrown in, rough. I said, 'Please don’t be too nice,'" he said.

A look back at Trump comments perceived by some as encouraging violence

Poverty doesn't really explain the high murder rate of those diverse regions. Most of the 3rd-world is poor. Not all of the poor 3rd-world has high murder rates.

The US has allowed substantial immigration from 3rd-world countries with high murder rates, notably Central and South America but also many from Africa and the middle east. We know that the US murder rate is not nearly so high as that in those regions of the world. We also know that gangs and radicalized individuals from those regions, such as MS-13, significantly increase the US murder rate. Those are just facts, politically incorrect and inconvenient facts to be sure, but facts nonetheless.

Yeah, but you're also talking about areas of the world characterized by both poverty and political instability.

From which regions many people come to the US, bringing with them their low regard for human life, thus raising the US murder rate.

The US has historically had a low regard for human life in Central America, South America and the Middle East as well.

The US murder rate has also been dropping for a generation.
