• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

My friend, seek medical attention. There are options out there for you medically. Posting online is not the solution and no one here is likely qualified, nor is it permitted, to give you medical advice.

See your Doctor on Monday or as soon as possible.

Prayer is not just saying words to God. Prayer includes being sensitive to God and submissive to Him in His peace > there is deeper-than-words sharing, in prayer which is communication. So our constant praying needs to be not only in words, but in submitting to how God personally rules us in His peace >

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

If I may ask, what are you saying to God, and why? He is concerned especially with your motives. He already knows what you want, your reason for wanting this, and if this is good for you, by the way :)

Kostilaks, I pray that the true God of heaven and earth will reveal Himself to you and enable you to seek Him only. Thank you for posting here.

I encourage you to reach out to the medical profession, to see if they can help you calm down your thought process, allowing you to have full control of your destiny, calmly choosing the direction of changes in your life.

I encourage you also to spend time reading the Bible. The more you read, the more you will see the power of God to change hearts and minds. The gospel of John is a good place to start.

Here is a very short bible study on John 1:1.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God".

What can we deduce from this? Looking ahead to verse 14 tells us, "The Word became flesh". So verse 1 is talking about Jesus who was known as the Christ (Messiah, or anointed one).

The Word was with God. With implies two things. There is a distinction between Christ and God, they are not identical. Also, they are together -- not separated or apart.

The Word was God. Christ is God, even though "God" and "Christ" are not absolutely identical.

May God bless you, as you study His written word, the Bible, and as you confront the issues of life.
