It's the headline grabbing "soup-of-the-day" issue, and near the bottom of the list of health problems.

"near the bottom of the list of health problems" that were NO LONGER problems until money-grubbing health gurus and naysayers and 'woke' simpletons undermined it all....

Your argument is moot as measles vaccinations are increasing globally. It will take decades for effective vaccinations take place globally. The present hysteria is unwarranted.

There are bigger health issues that need to be addressed.

The Anti-Vaxxer Movement Isn’t Really Growing

The "hysteria" is because of the ~300% increase in measles cases seen in the US for 2019, with nearly half the year to go.

According to the CDC, there were 1,123 individual cases of measles confirmed in 28 states for the year to 11-July. This is the greatest number of cases reported in the U.S. since 1992 and since measles was declared eliminated in 2000.

In 2018, there were 372 cases. In 2017, there were 120.

There are bigger health issues, but none that are emerging as rapidly as measles, and none that can be solved as quickly (provided people vaccinate).

Haven't we reached the level of 'herd immunity' of 95 percent vaccination rate?

Not when the outbreaks are among groups that are majority unvaccinated. Such as groups with religious or cultural/social objections to vaccinations.

These become transmission vectors that can affect others who are unvaccinated, due to legitimate medical reasons, or being too young to have had both vaccinations or belonging to groups that have higher susceptibility to measles (such as those with a weakened immune system).

Quoting the CDC: "Measles is so contagious that if one person has it, up to 90% of the people close to that person who are not immune will also become infected".
