It's true!

The definition of words were fixed in place with the first English language dictionary.

I believe gradyll likes Robert Cawdrey, A Table Alphabetical (1604).

The word Climate for example, defined as..

a portion of the worlde betwixt north and south

...has been hijacked and perverted by insidious climate change activists attempting to move the goalposts..
Given the context of the thread I sure hope the OP doesn't look at how the meaning of the word gay has changed over the years...

In my experience, we are responsible for our problems and blaming others for them is a way to keep from addressing them.
Easy to say when there isn't a whole political party working to make your marriage illegal.

but mental health counseling and medication management cured me of my homosexuality 100%
Wat Da! Medication for homosexuality? - what medication would that be?? I ask because their is no medication associated with curing homosexuality, so naturally Im curious.

Also I am interested what mental health practice cures homosexuality - because that certainly isn't advocated by any national psychiatric association - unless of course you live somewhere like Nigeria or Iran where executions of gays are pretty big.

Maybe the vomit inducing ones once used in aversion therapy?

Oh I know this one. It's available in basically every pharmacy and can usually be found in the back corner right next to the serum that makes you invisible.

But when I used it, it had this weird side effect of making me even more gay than I already had been. And now I have this strange compulsion of doing jazz hands at inappropriate moments.

⚙ Define atheism :: Etymology

The words "atheism" and "atheist" originated from the Ancient Greek word "ἄθεος"4 ("átheos") meaning "without deities"21 without any direct or implied anti-theistic (or anti-religious) connotation31, for it was (and still is) impartial in its initially intended use -- philosophical atheist thought is also believed by some scholars to have begun in Asia and Europe as early as 600 BCE.

Fun fact Christians were originally called atheists because they denied the fact of the roman gods.

Brilliant and like all brilliant ideas, so obvious once it is presented.

Off-topic aside: the one thing I do have against homosexuals was their pilfering of the word "gay". It was such a delightful, useful, potent word and now it is lost to me in its original form, except in the novels of Jane Austen.

that sounds like your sure of something. Are you really sure?

how sure are you?

really.

Yes, I feel like theres a breakdown in communication here. I generally view the claims of alien sightings to be bogus but am I certain there are no aliens? No. Likewise I dont believe the bible is correct, but I can't be certain there's no God. I can, however, honestly say that I don't find the testimony in support of a God's existence to be convincing. This is pretty off topic though so suggest we park it until I have enough posts to participate in general apologetics.

He could also look up the etymology of 'girl' and 'man' and get completely gender confabulated.
