Trips to nature, far away from people and cities.

I like to listen to Christian radio, watch YouTube videos of vloggers that I follow, look through instagram, watch Netflix, wash or detail my car.

Stress is good, if it's the right kind.

I enjoy playing video games,and coloring online with my color by number app.

I sometimes unlax by playing solitaire during my break.

Not much time for de-stressing or feeding my own soul. After meeting the demands of my job and my children, I tend to have run out of money and my allotted 24 hours.

However, I am trying to change that. Two things I love to do are genealogy and refinishing/repurposing furniture and spaces. I also like to wander through thrift stores. I am hoping that while I am off on medical leave this summer, I can do some more genealogy and can work with my kids to get our house better organized so I have space to do some refinishing of the cool furniture I find sitting out for the curb for garbage pick up. My daughter also wants to be able to do this along with her love to sew (another space I want to set up for her while I am off). Mostly, I will have to be the brains and the pocket book for this program since my activity will be highly limited as I heal so I am dependent on my kids having time to help. The genealogy I can do independently.

Hmmm, eating.. music.. reading stuff on the Internet mainly.

Time to myself and rest.

I've also found that multiple trips to the grocery store with a short list each week after work is helpful. It provides a slow, casual walk through the store, a transition from work and home, and fresh food because I buy smaller amounts more frequently.

Currently I am sitting in a hammock, listening to bluesy guitar while it rains. The chill breeze dancing around my toes is making the hot tea and blanket even more cozy. Bliss
