BCsenior is getting a lot of stuff right, is puzzling out some really complicated, confusing topics pretty much by himself, and should be encouraged.

He is our brother in Christ, and is seeking Truth on these matters.
He’s the one who admitted that he’s not articulate in response to a post of mine.

I'd say he's pretty articulate. These are nuanced, complicated matters, which many Christians are deeply confused on. Any efforts to seek and articulate Truth on salvation, even if it's articulated imperfectly, should be encouraged.

I’m not going to encourage anyone who tries to subvert the gospel by placing yokes on people, especially when they cannot explain how much one must do to be saved, yet assume that they themselves have done enough.

My observation on these threads are that those who believe that you need works in some aspect, that they are doing enough, and that they cannot articulate the line of demarcation.
My observation has been that those who deny works as proof of repentance, are often seeking a back way into the fold.

Actually not, as many other times.

God's people serve God. Everyone else serves hasatan.

God's people do good works.

How much good works? Who decides how much good works? There are more spirits out there than just the Holy Spirit. The spirit of Jesus Christ is the Holy Spirit.

if the church correctly judges a person doesn't have enough love. How does the church decide what is the punishment and the duration of the punishment for that person who didn't have enough love? To what degree is Jesus Christ more qualified than the church to judge the proper punishment for a person who did not meet the threshold of enough love?

That is true as well.

Read the NT and see what Jesus says.

"START" with a glass of cool water, giving it to someone who needs it.

It is likely, most probably, that no church you have seen has good or right judgment.

Free will never dies, but it is the intention if the will that is changed by Chriat beginning with Faith in Him.
What changes the intention of the will to place one’s faith in one’s enemy?

Howdy, Ace ... May I post 3 of my favorites?

“… let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous just as He is righteous ... whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God”
(1 John 3:7-10)

Many consider practicing righteousness as works!

“… you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.”
(1 John 2:29)

But, do all believers who are born of God
practice righteousness? Nope! Nowhere near all.

“… who fears Him and works righteous-ness is accepted by Him” (Acts 10:35)
All those who'd like to be accepted by God,
please raise your hands! You too, Ace.
Great, now what is that righteousness you practice?

What good things are you doing?
lol. Typical online forum. This is why on a forum you have to stick to scripture and to some degree you have to stick to logic. I know that sounds harsh but thats the problem with technology i guess.

The Gospel is so simple many can't believe it.
