Lucifer Season 4

You know I remember the arguments many Christians had about the show when it came out and what I laughed at was all the Christians were giving the show press, and it worked. Tell someone they can not or should not do something and many do it. I just finished season 4 and if they end it hear the should finished well. The star of the show is a Christian his he is from a family of preachers. First and foremost the show after finishing season 4 was about redemption. The devil learning to be human, to forgive, to love. It also pointed out another fact, the devil does not make us do anything. We decide weather to be good or evil. At the end of the day we decide our own fates. And I will not spoil it for everyone but the devil make a sacrifice for the greater good. At the end of the day though it is entertainment to take it more than that means you really near some help. Now I am gonna end this with a quote from Mark Twain here.

But who prays for Satan? Who in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most, our one fellow and brother who most needed a friend yet had not a single one, the one sinner among us all who had the highest and clearest right to every Christian's daily and nightly prayers, for the plain and unassailable reason that his was the first and greatest need, he being among sinners the supremest?

So your logic is because a tv show made the devil "human" in his morality.... its ok to watch the show? It would be like me watching a XXX movie and saying it was ok because the inappropriate content star was a christian.

The point I was trying to make was its entertainment....its not real life. I comfortable in my faith, I can watch a tv series, movie series, comic book, or read Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings and I understand its fantasy. If you are delusional and can not understand fantasy from reality or your not secure in your faith then no you should not watch it. I apologize for posting about that series I should have realized the type of response. But then again evangelist Bob Larson believed Heath Ledger was possessed by the devil when he stared as a the joker. I also think when I was a child he was going on about the 80's cartoon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was of the devil. lol some people can not differentiate between reality and fantasy.

You may be secure in the faith, but what about the multitudes being duped by so called 'entertainment'? Are you comfortable supporting lies that make a hero out of the enemy of their souls?

I once shared some ideas you're presenting here, but let me explain why I changed my views:

First off Mark Twain is being self righteous and trying to say everyone are fools and he knows what's right and no one else in praying for the devil. That's clearly a heretic problem Mark Twain has. He's going to show everyone he's right and the bible is wrong.

Second, the real Lucifer has no redeeming qualities because he seeks everyone's destruction, and wants everyone killed and thrown in hell. In other words he commits genocide against humanity. And if God would let him, that's exactly what he would do.

Thirdly the mistake is listening to the media empire when all they want is to make more money because they know risque' entertainment sells. They don't care about Christianity at all. It's all about making the money. I don't look up to them at all, it's really quite sad. Selling out Christianity for a buck

and Fourth: That said, as a Christian I might watch the show to get an idea of where the world is headed. That doesn't mean I'm giving in to the evil.

Oh, it's just entertainment? Harmless? TV and movies, and music therefore, does nothing at all. Uh huh. People love their programing, even carnal Christians.
All that TV you're watching is impeding your walk with God. You could be spending time getting to know God, but instead you spend your time getting to know Satan. I cut the cord a decade before I ever became a Christian knowing that TV and movies are filth going through the brain. Don't fool yourself, you're being affected/infected by the garbage you take in. Your very words are evidence of that. Who do you think runs this world? Do you really think the enemy is as simple as a horned beast far far away, giving orders to his minions and he can't touch you unless you die an un-repented sinner? Think again.

Okay this is going to be my last post on this subject. I do not serve any master. If I did acknowledge anyone as my superior it would be god. Every evening I sit out in my back yard and I talk with god and since my mom passed I talk with here. Sometimes the strong smell of coffee which I associate with my mom hits me. I feel weight on my shoulders and I know she is there. My mom and me fought and raged at each other while she was awhile but I always new she would be there for me. I knew without hesitation my mom would have given her life for me and faced the devil or god himself to keep me safe, I feel comfort knowing she is there. When I talk with god its different. I get a sense of humor and exasperation and friendship...I know he there listening. Is he gonna solve all my problems nope...no more than my mother would have. But I know he is there and there is comfort in that. So despite what you think or anyone for that matter. I do not think the cartoons I watched in the 80's when I was child were evil. I do not think the show Supernatural or Lucifer are evil. I do not think Harry Potter, The Lord Of The Rings, or The Wizard of Oz are evil. But honestly if you feel that something is evil then know you should not watch or read any of those shows or books.
