Dream Parting the sea

All that dream tells me is you value his kids over him.

God is a God of order and clarity not of confussion.
His normal way of communication is through the bible/sermons, not by means of vague impressions, feelings or unclear dreams.

I really enjoy dreams like that. I once walked on water in a dream. It's always a good feeling to have had a dream where you acted in faith in it.

Seems like a metaphor for the Rapture for me. Interesting too that the kids came with you!

God has used dreams to communicate,there are 21 mentions of dreams in the Bible.

And God continues to send dreams that are leading muslims to faith in Jesus. They have limited access to the bible.
God can speak to us by dreams etc but do you think he'll use something as unclear as the dream quoted here or as muslims have reported dreams that give a clear impression of a holy person pointing to a message in a book.

We have been given intelligenceto read, study and learn from the bible, if we won't do that God isn't going to hold our disobedient hand and help us to understand.

Maybe he is behind you ready to help you and the kids when you need his help

Well John you know God much better than I do because I would never pretend to know what God would decide to do. Scripture leads me to believe that God's ways are not my ways and God's thought are not my thoughts. Blessings

Some spiritual dreams are meant to play out in real life, sometimes sooner than later but other times later in life and other dreams are just that, a dream period.. I can't say if the OP's dream was of God but I can say that He speaks through dreams, sometimes it's abundantly clear at the time and sometimes later on, in a few days or perhaps even years down the road. I've had dreams more like visions that came to be, sometimes the very next day, one of the most profound is still in the works 25 years into it but actually happening, part of the outcome for that dream has already occurred about 4 years ago.. So I surely would not be the one to say that God couldn't have been working in the OP considering some of the things I've seen spin off a dream or vision of my own. Far be it for me to say but I will say that I bet that dream in the OP won't soon be forgotten.
