He was specifically asked if he could find any evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians, and his answer was he looked for two years and could not find any evidence of it.

I think you are forgetting that VP nominees must be confirmed -- and I can't see a Senate, even this one, approving of Trump to become the VP. This is particularly true if he had been impeached and removed from office.

Now you've got it, he didn't see, hear, read, etc. any evidence of collusion, even though he paid extra special attention to find it within the information he received, found, etc. for his book on the White House administration and Trump.

No idea what would lead you to believe this.
Yeah, Mueller's office has been pretty tight-lipped. Lots of "no comments" from them. No surprise journalists aren't getting information he might have on any particular person.
