Supreme Court Decision Delivers Blow To Workers' Rights
In a case involving the rights of tens of millions of private-sector employees, the U.S. Supreme Court, by a 5-4 vote, delivered a major blow to workers, ruling for the first time that workers may not band together to challenge violations of federal labor laws.

Writing for the majority, Justice Neil Gorsuch said that the 1925 Federal Arbitration Act trumps the National Labor Relations Act and that employees who sign employment agreements to arbitrate claims must do so on an individual basis — and may not band together to enforce claims of wage and hour violations.
...and this is why the Republicans will never overturn Roe v Wade.
tulc(that way they get to pack the Supreme Court for decades of decisions like this) :sigh:

We can suppose that every justice voted strictly according to his or her partisan loyalties, but if one piece of federal legislation supersedes another, this ruling is more likely to have been decided on the basis of the contents of the legislation in question than most rulings are.

I think. the way Republicans have behaved reveals the utmost sinister motive of transfer of power over to the Kremlin. The U. S. media stops short of the broader picture by heralding that all the power is going to the super-rich of this country.

If we take a good look at the government department heads installed by this Puppet, we see that every one of them is there to destroy it, based on their prior talk and behavior.

So in reality, I think we must take a more radical approach in dealing with this infestation than trying to strengthen Unions.
