bad memories of powwows & upset

Lord Jesus,I'm upset about something & don't know why at all I'm upset. I tried to think of why,but to no avail. Another thing,I don't want to go to native american indian powwows anymore. Doing so, & anything related starts bad memories of being threatened with arrest, & threats against my life at these powwows not by just police & security,but also by people of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas & also by police,security,& tribal people of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana.

I pray you will be able to exit the pow wows graciously but firmly. I pray that if anything else is the cause of your anxiety that you will be led to freedom from that, too.

If you are not of those tribes, unless it is open to public (not all are) then yeah, that could cause the police to give you grief. Peace.

A powwow is a gathering of one or more Indian (native American) tribe(s) to meet and reunite, participate in rituals, share stories and folklore, and otherwise reinforce the customs and heritage they have in common.

(I am not a native American, so this is probably an ignorant and culturally-insensitive definition. I'm sure I will hear about it.)
