How many people just looking for love, not finding it anywhere else maybe, fall into this trap...?

Getting screwed (and I'd like to us another word, but can't) all the while... All the while getting stabbed in the back and don't even know it or are aware of it, and have developed "stockholm syndrome" with the media...

Lonely, desperate people, stuck at home with their T.V.'s...

God Bless!

I agree. My family are not bad people and purposely watching a program full of lies... The news appears to be truthful, that's why they watch it

But a lot of it's not, and they know how to manipulate the masses with their, now near perfected, like a subtle slick art, propaganda techniques that is a great grand deception I believe...

And, I wonder if there some kind of big conspiracy involved as well, and if there is, you can bet it/that is most definitely not good for us...

God Bless!

And, no they are not bad people, they just "know not"... and "know not what they are doing"... The full gravity of it, ect...

And it hard to explain it to them that "you do"... and that that is why you don't want (to be) any part of it at all, or have anything to do with it at all, or why it bothers you so...

God Bless!

What passes for news isn't really news at all, it's a series of carefully selected stories delivered in a manner to incite rage and hate. If I sound cynical, hear me out. It doesn't really matter what your political beliefs are. There is a news network or website out there that will confirm all of your biases and deliver news in a manner that discredits the people you disagree with. This is how we wind up with echo chambers, where people think everyone else in the country or world must think just like them. There are no impartial news sources anymore, either. Not one. All of them are guilty of partisanship and sensationalism. Now consider how almost every single story delivered is incredibly negative or inflammatory. Hate and anger drive up ratings and page hits. That's the only reason news networks use the stories they use. "If it bleeds, it leads" was the old saying. More viewership means more money from ad revenue. On tv, it's based on commercials. On the internet, websites set up comment sections and let people tear each other to pieces. The comment sections don't exist for the sake of debate; they exist to drive up page hits. People will continue to come back to a story when they are furious and arguing. There are even people who are paid to incite others in comment sections, solely for the sake of driving up page hits and ad revenue.

This is absolutely intentional on the part of all news networks, large or small. Don't be deceived by journalists or networks masquerading as impartial or honest - none are. What is happening is caustic, malevolent, and it's destroying our society. Add in social media, and it seems hopeless. Maybe on a macro level it is. However anyone can personally stop this by simply ignoring and disregarding the news media. The world will keep turning if you stop watching. I did, and everyday that goes by I'm happier and happier. It's as if I've given up a destructive vice like smoking.

God has given us a beautiful world to enjoy. There's nothing on tv or the news that is going to make your day better. Turn it off. Don't let them have any power or influence over you.

It's not just the news media, but "all" the media...

It is/they are responsible for thing like bad, perverse, sick, and twisted, disturbing, and distressing thoughts, and all kinds of human depravity (that people blame themselves for) and mental disorders like scitzophrenia, and even things like physical seizures and the like, all kinds of things, depression/anxiety/panic/mood disorders, and the list just goes on and on and on...

Anyone else kind of "furious" about this...?
It is infuriating when those who are supposedly Gospel preachers abuse their opportunity to preach the Gospel, and instead make merchandise of the Gospel by asking for cash. So you have a few options:

1. Throw something heavy on your TV and be done with it.
2. Be extremely selective in what you watch.
3. Shun TV and radio all together.

You could also write to false teachers and false preachers about how you feel, but chances are your protest will fall on deaf ears.

And, I see a lot of this demonically/Satanically inspired and driven crap/stuff going on in even Christian television/programming...

Anyone feel me...? Anyone "relate"...?

God Bless!

So called "christian" tv is anything but. It is a money making machine and a place to indoctrinate the masses with this kind of satanic agenda of the compromised. I stopped watching so called Christian tv 6 or 7 years ago entirely. I can not think of a single legit person on christian tv.

I don’t watch a lot of television. I get my news from BBC television channel or from their website. I could not stop listening to all music.
Celtic music is awesome, almost sounds like angels singing to me...

Malachi 3:10
(10) Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
1 Timothy 5:17-18
(17) The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.
(18) For Scripture says, "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain," and "The worker is worthy of his hire."
1 Corinthians 11:7-9
(7) Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge?
(8) I robbed other churches by receiving support from them so as to serve you.
(9) And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what I needed. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so.
Philippians 4:15-18
(15) Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;
(16) for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.
(17) Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.
(18) I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.
1 Corinthians 16:1-2
(1) Now about the collection for the Lord's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do.
(2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.

It should be noted that these instructions (and others) are for Christians gathering together to worship on the first day of the week.

They have no bearing whatsoever on people making public broadcasts and asking for cash. Indeed, if they have been commissioned by their churches to engage in these ministries, then the churches should be supporting them on the basis of 1 Cor 16 etc. and asking the preachers to never mention money. Neither Christ nor the apostles ever asked for remuneration.

Actually the Scripture applicable to media evangelists (if genuine) is "Freely ye have received, freely give". This is also supported by Christ sending out the 70 to preach the Gospel and instructing them to simply accept whatever hospitality was provided, making no requests for cash.

As to tithes, that is a different subject, and is not applicable to Christian liberality. Tithes were tied to the temple and the Levitical priesthood, but the offerings of Christians are tied to the grace of giving as described by Paul.

What you witnessed in this program looks to me like an emotional con. It is designed to get the programmer get you to give them money. It is entirely possible that the emotional con perpetrated by the women was designed to tear down the pro life argument. Needless to say it is sensationalism.

I avoid TV preachers. Many of them are looking to tap your wallet. Not all of them are, but there are many nefarious individuals are out there.

What is to be done about it though...?

God Bless!

We have to SHOW our families that its not true by showing them the real love of God. Bankers can spot fake money by studying what the authentic dollar bill looks like, not by studying the fake one

Even your outrage at creates a siphon of spiritual attention. If you are "cynical, and jaded," perhaps that is a blessing for the time, because that is the best mentality you would need to be durable against these arrows (along with an cemented alignment with the Most High God.)

It is an attack on your mind; the physical world is a distraction compared to what is real, not reality.

I decided to watch a T.V. preaching program by Jenzten Franklin, (don't know why I did but just thought I would) (I don't usually watch him), and after he was done preaching (and right before he was to ask for some money), A testimony from a lady started that said she was pregnant, and thinking about abortion... But she heard the babies heartbeat on the sonogram and just couldn't go through with it...

So, she had the baby (no red flags going up up to this point) and said that the Father had asked her to "just trust him with the baby for one night" (this is when red flags started to go up for me and I started thinking "oh, crap, what's gonna happen or be the story now"), and knew it was going to be bad, (which made me panic and my panic button got hit and I steeled myself and a wall went up for me), (I instantly started thinking/wondering sexual and/or physical abuse, or that he would have beat the baby (to death) or something like that, by the man)... Turns out the girlfriend of the guy put a pillow over it's head, cause she couldn't handle the crying, she said just for a minute, and the baby got suffocated to death...

The woman telling the story started crying, and while I felt bad, I couldn't cry with her or them, cause a wall had went up for me... And that always fills me with regret and makes me feel bad, on top of what I initially started thinking... It was supposed to touching, but I could not feel it with her/them, she said she was very upset with God and the woman but eventually forgave her...

I got ticked off afterwards, especially when after that, they started asking for money... I started talking to God about it, and said that this was one of main problems with television and the media in general... For the mainstream media does it sometimes too, and it is all about money, and getting people to fall to their knees before a false god/idol... I refuse every time...

I started talking to/with God, and told I was "angry" and started venting, I told him I was so very sick of this emotional/mental abuse and psychological manipulation by the media, who's motives are far from pure... I told him it was even "Satanic" and a grand deception and was just so very "wrong" on so many levels, and told him no wonder were having shootings and killings and people going crazy, and the country was ripping itself apart... And told him I even wondered if this wasn't some kind of conspiracy to bring down America or western society by "whomever"... No wonder this country is ripping itself apart (I said)...

People watch the media to be entertained or learn, not to be "screwed" (by them/it) in so many very wrong ways... I was very upset, for it has happened to me before... Though I couldn't quite explain it till now... It would be one thing if I "volunteered" to be exposed to that crap/stuff, by "real people" face to face, or one on one with them, cause that would be an entirely different story and issue...

I said it was Satanic and they were a bunch of succubuse's, sucking and draining everyone dry of any kind of feeling or emotion and making everyone cold, or otherwise "burn" eternally... They (the media) are purposely exasterbating us, (the people) and manipulating us and psychologically "screwing us" in so many very wrong ways, and told God just how just very, very wrong it was... And that it is a false god... And, I refused to fall or bow before it...

And most people are just so hopelessly "hooked" to these abusers... Their addicted to it, something that is and is just so very, very, very wrong...

Needless to say, I try my best to pick and choose my media very, very carefully, but am still sometimes caught of guard sometimes by things like this... A wall goes up for me and I cannot help it, and I use to beat myself up over it a lot, blaming myself, for the thoughts I had, wondering what was wrong with me, when all the while, it was them all along...

Anyone else "feel" me or know what I'm talking about...?

Like I said, it would be much different "in person" or person to person... And (no offense women), but many women (and overly emotional men) do this as well, try to abusively get some kind of emotion out of you, and get upset if it doesn't happen, and are never even satisfied even if and when it does either... What the hell do they want...? What do you expect...? Sucking people dry, and wondering why most men get dry or cold emotionally... It's "abuse" in it's worse kind of form if you ask me...

I don't want to become cold, and am really trying hard not to, but I don't want to "burn" either...

Anyone else "feel" me or know what I'm talking about...?

Comments...?

God Bless!

Technically speaking, it could be defined as sorcery. If you're using stories, images, music, etc., to purposely evoke specific spirits (emotional states) then you're practicing magic.

They're using, or your using...?

I mean I mainly want to be taught things, and I know some use for entertainment, or to provoke certain emotional states, but I seek knowledge, and to learn from it, and try to be very selective with it to custom tailor it to that purpose, but no real emotional state being sought from it there though...?

Now they are most certainly using for that (to provoke certain emotional states in people), for very sinister motives much of the time...

God Bless!
