There is one God (Ephesians 4:6, 1 Corinthians 8:6): the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6, James 3:9), the Son (John 8:58 w/Exodus 3:14, Hebrews 1:8, John 1:1, John 1:14), and the Holy Ghost (Acts 5:3-4)

There is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5, 1 Corinthians 8:6): the Father (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:25), the Son (1 Corinthians 12:3, 1 Corinthians 8:6), and the Holy Ghost (2 Corinthians 3:17)

There is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4): the Father (John 4:23-24), the Son (1 Corinthians 15:45 w/ Ephesians 4:10, Colossians 1:27), and the Holy Ghost (John 7:39).

They are distinct from each other (John 15:26, John 16:27-28, Hebrews 1:8-9, John 1:1, Psalm 110:1, Mark 12:36)

They are one (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, James 2:19, 1 John 5:7, 1 Corinthians 12:4-6).

It looks like you are saying "There is one Spirit: the Father, the Son , and the Holy Ghost."

"One Spirit" carries with it the meaning of "one person".

"One God in THREE persons" -- is the other option. The one I accept.

What does the Bible say?

If what I am saying is fully backed up by the Bible, then you should receive it.

I did indeed say that there is one Spirit: the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost. As the final portion of what I wrote. But if you want to mince it: One God, who is a Spirit (John 4:23-24).

The Father is the Lord of heaven and earth (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21). There is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5). No one can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 12:3).

Think about it.

Yes you did say that - but that was you "quoting you".

But if you want to mince it: One God, who is a Spirit (John 4:23-24).

John 4 is a good example of a text that does not say "there is one Spirit: the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost"

Believe what you want to believe, @BobRyan , that is what you are going to do anyway.

The scriptures I have given declare exactly what I have said they declare; now you can choose to believe what you have been told the Bible says; or you can choose to believe what the Bible says, by studying it out in the scriptures and making your conclusions from them.

For the record, I declare that God is definitely three-in-one.
