I couldn't get either clickable link to work, but just used the com address.
Hopefully, I can order a package later this month.

Do you have an organic garden Pat? I wish I could but my whole property is very shady. I do buy from organic farms in the area, we have lots of farmers markets where there are plenty of organically grown produce. I just finished putting up the last of the season a few weeks ago. :)

Right now I don't have a garden, but I do have a few container plants. I like replanting things
like celery and cabbage once I found how good they grow. I also have some ginger and basil
growing, and trying to grow some catnip for my cats.

This coming spring I want to start tomatoes and bell peppers early. My last bell pepper plant
lasted about 3 years before I decided to let it die.

I want to get a supply of heirloom organic seeds for the future years. If California continues in
its drought, we may have shortages and high prices in many fruits and veggies in the near future.
It already seems the produce section at the stores have shrunk and even at that are not stocked
very well these days.

I was fortunate to find garden troughs going on sale at Tractor supply this fall. Off the ground, table level, white cedar, four of them, for $25 each. Couldn't resist. Have them on the south side of the house. Will be going to get black soil, pcv pipe, and sheets of plastic. I am going to create a hoop greenhouse for this winter. As soon as those seeds come in, I am going to have me a winter garden.

You live in an area where that is feasible. I got to looking into this, anyone have one? I figure since I only buy organic if I grow my own for six months till I can get from the farm it will pay for itself. And herbs are an essential part of the diet even if most don't think so. I'm thinking of trying to grow the tomatoes and lettuces too.

Aero garden

I'm thinking of going for the 9 pod one. They are having a holiday sale right now too and free shipping over 50.

About 3 years ago, I bought a sealed can from LDS of heirloom seeds. I haven't used them yet, but i think I will in the next few months. Hopefully anyone watching this thread knows that hybrid seeds don't produce good fruit in the following generations. I support organic, but non-organic heirloom varieties are fine for the long term. Just research the terminology to know what is going on.
