No, but that's a logically self-evident statement. If you are able to ask "do I exist", then it automatically follows that you are - after all, if you didn't exist, how could you ask the question?

By contrast, the claims religion makes are not self-evident by any stretch of the imagination.
Oh but it is.

Yes, but the mind is capable of manufacturing the belief, that these religious claims are self evident. To believe them, requires this, because the faith belief to some, would be too wishy washy, if they couldn't convince themselves they are absolutely true.
I don't know if you think that this is convincing to those who have a relationship with God but it isn't. The mind is a closed system, God is not limited to the mind. That is where your problem lies, you think that God is a mind thing but God works in the world outside of our minds.

There's a lot of baggage packed in this post. Jesus rose to heaven, did he not? So assuming heaven exists, wouldn't we be able to "know" him whether or not he rose from the dead? How do you know you "know" Jesus? How do you determine between speaking to Jesus and speaking to yourself?
Jesus speaks in a different way than we do. He also uses other people, events, and writtings to speak the same messages to confirm the messages He speaks to us internally. IF He died and did not rise again why would He be in Heaven?

I absolutely would not be let down.

Lol, you make that sound like a threat.

If you travelled back expecting to see the gospel story come to life, I should think the depressingly ordinary and all too predictably human beginnings of the first century christian cult would come as a major let down, however determined you were that it should be otherwise.

You someday will understand.

Oh, I already do, but it seems that it is too late for you.
