Since there is no dream and vision forum anymore for whatever reason I figured a thread for this topic would be helpful for anyone who has Dreams and visions from God and needs help understanding them.

For instance for a long time I have known that I am blind compared to How God sees, how he sees something beautiful and rare and worth going to extreme lengths for even the most darkest and cruelest of hearts, how deeply he loves and longs for even such ppl because he sees what we can't. I have sought after such eyes from early in my faith even if have go blind with my eyes because I don't need these eyes to see.

Last night I had a strange dream that could be just a dream but I am using it as an example and also if it is from God or from the enemy perhaps someone would know. In the dream My friend and I had a device that lets you see inside ones eyes, I had such a horrible head pain and for some reason we used it even though I don't why a head pain would make us use that. What we saw was something from a nightmare, behind the part of my eyes that allows one to see was a giant manifestion of maggots covering every area and part of each eye, not to mention apparently they had laid eggs that would hatch soon.

For some reason my friend who isn't even saved and is an atheist was able to clean the gross bugs from my eyes he did so on one of them but the other had to wait because he had to go do something and this is all I remember

Yuck.
What strikes me in this, is the ability to reproduce, due to the host not removing them. They are not just gross, but they eat the host and lay eggs in the host.

It is like sins that we accept, thinking they're bad but they'll go away. But in letting them sit and fester, they consume all that is good.

There are many situations it reminds me of, on small and large scale. Since it's your eye, it seems to relate to how we understand or perceive things. You -- probably a larger entity like Christendom or your country -- allowed intrusion into your way of understanding. That could be propaganda.

Think of how Youtubers pick up a piece of news and run with it. They don't always check the sources, and could end up hosting propaganda without knowing it. Then they are not only suffering due to the deceptions, but they are hosting it!

Also this sort of thing could happen in churches.
Your friend might represent agnostics who can see troubles within the church, that believers are not seeing themselves... or they imagine they don't have the ability to remove. Your external friend was able to help; so keep that in mind when facing situations that you think you have to handle yourself.

This is just the example that came to mind. See if it reminds you of anything else going on-- either in your life or in the world you're familiar with.

I understand what your saying and that may very well be true but if I were to interpret the dream in any way it might have to do with how much I hate seeing through the eyes I see. every time i see a person my natural fleshly eyes and mind look at appearance and without meaning to subconsciously judge them on that and I catch myself doing that and and react in different ways. sometimes I get furious at myself saying to myself who are you to judge them in any way? others times I laugh and say you don't see what God sees but always no matter the reaction I look past what my fleshly eyes see and I can see what God sees I can see the rare and beautiful treasure they are I can see how they are worth going through extreme pain and suffering and I regardless what they look like I love them deeply.

I have said to God many times either I see out of love or I refuse to see at all even to the point where I asked him if I could trade him my eyes making me blind in this world for his making me see through his. As I said I don't need these eyes to see. What I find interesting is that nothing is ever as it seems, the deepest part of a persons heart and soul at the very core no matter how evil one is there is something there.

That dream reminds me of the scripture a out how our eyes out to be single and full of light and not harbour any darkness in them.

Can look it up for you if like.
Again with dreams God can show us in pictures what He says in his Word in the Bible.

Good thing I found this thread! I found it weird also that their is no dreams or visions board.

Anyway, I want to share a dream I had this morning. I found myself driving into this town I've never been in. The first thing I noticed, was that there was no one there. I mean, absolutely deserted. It was an old style town with brick buildings and brick roads. I immediately had the sensation that something big, maybe bad, was going to happen. I then found myself in another place still in the town, but this time there were people. Chairs were set up in two columns, the column to the right was half filled up with people all dressed in red shirts. I then heard someone say "Look, they're checking their watches" and sure enough I looked at all of them check their watches on their wrists. Between these two columns of chairs, I saw a long line of cars, apparently trying to leave the town. I got the impression at this point that this was one of those apocalyptic dreams I sometimes have, because I kept having this fearful sensation that something was going to happen any second. I was then walking down the town's streets, and I knew whatever was happening would happen very soon, so I needed to go somewhere for shelter. I heard a voice tell me to go in that church to the left of me. Skeptical at first, I went in. This part was very interesting. It was a small room with an altar at the front, everything was mostly dark blue and gray. I noticed there were inscriptions in a language or writing foreign to me, but it was nothing like I've seen before. The closest I could think it would be is either Hebrew or Aramaic. I heard some music, and looked to my left to find an elderly man standing up, with what I think was some incense. I said sorry thinking I had disturbed him, and walked back outside, and somehow this man was at my left talking to me in a different language. I didn't understand any of it but I nodded my head. I remember rolling up what might have been a roll of string or twine, and I'm pretty sure the dream ended there. Nothing bad or apocalyptic happened.

This isn't the first time I've had these dreams where I feel as though the second coming is imminent. Sometimes in real life, I would have a sensation of deja vu, and I would be in fear because I get the same sensation of the closeness of Jesus returning. God is definitely using these dreams and sensations to tell me He is coming back very soon.

With one exception (below), all my dreams have the theme of disunity, like I'm at some distance, watching people live their lives. Not in a sad sense, but in a mildly-fascinating laboratory sense. I'm always in a strange place that never even remotely resembles anywhere I've been before. I dream in full color, with sound and touch and extremely sharp visual detail. The old Ultravox song "Dislocation" totally nails what my dreams are like. (If you chase it down on Youtube, listen with really good headphones or else you won't get the full effect.) It never scares me or even disturbs me; the dreams more entertaining than anything else. I know it's just Satan trying to mess with me when my shields are down. That and maybe my brain doing some routine garbage collection. Sometimes a dream will become so patently ridiculous in the middle that I'll wake up in full-bore laughter. Sometimes toward morning I'll find myself able to straddle that fragile line between sleep and consciousness, and able to nudge a dream in a particular direction, like I can actually mess with the details, change the flow of (nonsensical) events, and so on. I really get a kick out of that.

I had a really satisfying dream not too long ago. Strangely, there was no physical setting, not even an environment to speak of. I was surrounded by people, but they weren't really people. They were more like the essences of people, if that makes any sense. They were all female, but there were no romantic or sexual overtones whatsoever. They had faces -- neither beautiful nor ugly -- that I didn't recognize, and evoked no one I've ever known. The faces were looking right at me and smiling, and I liked looking at them. They weren't talking, because that wasn't in their design. They seemed to be trying to thank me, though, or trying to show approval for some reason, but there was no sound in this one, just these... presences crowding me all around. I felt this sort of... warmth, maybe. Weird thing is, I hadn't done anything noteworthy in a while (not that I ever have -- the bar is too high even for the best of us), no recent event that stood out where I'd excelled at anything Kingdom-related. Nothing had been bothering me (I didn't "need the dream"), nor was there anything hugely positive in my life at the time that would generate the dream. Had that dream only once in my life. Nothing even remotely similar before or after. Oddly, this one was totally unity-themed. "They were angels" is too easy, if for no other reason than the things I saw didn't come even close to how angels are described in the Bible. So, I chewed on that one for a while and came to the final conclusion that I have no idea at all what that was all about, LOL.......

Blessings in Christ Jesus. Do you know that every man born of woman is born blind? And do you know, that every man born of woman is born deaf? And do you know every man born of woman is born dead? Hense, the true meaning of Jesus Healing the Blind and the deaf, and raising the dead. Unless a man be born again(or from above) he can not see the kingdom of Heaven or my sheep hear my voice and I lead them in and out to pasture. That is only a small part of what the original sin has done. When Jesus spoke in parables they truly could not understand for they did not have eyes to see or hears to hear(understand.) As we walk further and further on our journey the light will shine brighter and brighter and our eyes will see more and more. and our ears will hear more and more, for our eyes and our ears will no longer be our own. For He will increase and we will decrease just as promised . So you see, it is not about seeing through His eyes , it is about Him seeing through ours. When this comes to maturity we will be able to see the creation for what it is beautifull and perfect, for it comes from The perfect. It is like opening you eyes for the very first time and understand His perfect plan.I hope this helps and have a good day.

It seems like you had a dream about being in the body of christ as saints, the souls of saints...
