Suggestions for husband and wife hobbies

I was actually using "you" as a generic pronoun, speaking to the hypothetical husband and wife in your OP.

How about board/card games? There is a coffee shop down the street from us that has many many different board games to try out and buy if you want to. Of course they have the regular stuff, like chess and checkers and whatnot, but there are also a lot of different games that are newer and fun. My wife and I like to do this.

Also, there was a missionary that came to our church many years ago who said he and his wife played board games with each other every day. This is just what came to mind to me when I read your post.
