It has always been my understanding that this forum is for those who have accepted Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah and have placed their faith in Him for salvation.

Your statement seems to reject Jesus of Nazareth, as the Messiah.
You used the correct word, seems.

If that is your intention, it would explain some of your past posts.
There's no logical explanation for your statement other than your bias prejudices. Me providing the truth about the 70wks being 70yrs, Rome being the 4th beast, her 8th king being the Beast, and Gog being the "devil" thats cast into the lake of fire in Rev 20 etc has nothing to with what you're claiming. It's the truth that offends you. There's no evidence for your offensive claim. If there is, Please provide them.

It would also indicate that none of your posts should be considered until you understand that He was the Son of the Living God, who loved me and you enough to come down to this rotten, sin-cursed world and do what we could not do for ourselves.
Please, spare me the crocodile tears. The type of hypocrisy I don't need. This is a forum to discuss Christian doctrine, not one to bear false witness and accusations.

Every person on this forum loves you, but this part of the forum is not intended to debate the truth of the Gospel. For those who are here, we have accepted it as a fact.

Jesus Christ was and is the Messiah.

Unless you clarify your position, the only response you will get from me is the Truth of the Gospel.

I would urge others to do the same.
Ignorance is bliss. When you can't accept the truth/the facts, you attack the messenger because you're not genuine, and trees are known by their fruits.

You are wresting the words of the prophecy. It did not say that the command would come seven weeks after the prophecy was given. It said that the street and the wall would be built again in the more narrow of the two times, that is, that the street and the wall would be built in seven weeks (49 years) and then Messiah would come in another 62 weeks (an additional 434 years.) This makes 483 years from the going forth od the order to restore and to build Jerusalem until Messiah. And when Jewish years are used, we find that this is precisely accurate.
I wouldn't even get into that with you. You're the one wrestling with words, misinterpreting the 70wks contrary to popular belief. It is not a coincidence that you continue to ignore the fact the 70wks prophecy is given in the 1st yr of Darius the Mede who conquered Babylon and killed Belshazzar in 532bc. (The handwriting on the wall scenario.) But you also continue to ignore the fact 7wks/yrs, 49yrs, or even 70wks/yrs do not add up to Artaxerxes decree in 445bc, no matter how you interpret the 70wks prophecy. You're not that naive.

Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
Yet you say:
It did not say that the command would come seven weeks after the prophecy was given.
It said that the street and the wall would be built again in the more narrow of the two times, that is, that the street and the wall would be built in seven weeks (49 years)
Scripture says:
and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall,
You say:
and then Messiah would come in another 62 weeks (an additional 434 years.)
Scripture says:
Dan 9:26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Yet you say:
and then Messiah would come in another 62 weeks (an additional 434 years.)
Go figure.

This is a libelous distortion of dispensational doctrine, and is a violation of forum rules.
How? Which part of Orthodox Christianity says it's unorthodox to interpret YahSha, crowned King and High Priest, as the same person Christ in the New Testament? We all know Joshua(YahSha) is interpreted to mean the same as "Jesus." So, where's the crime? Do all Orthodox Christians agree on doctrine?

Joh 18:33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

Joh 18:34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?

Joh 18:35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Joh 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

God's message to Zedek-h, the last king before the Babylonian captivity:
Eze 21:25 And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,
Eze 21:26 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
Eze 21:27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

Zec 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
Zec 3:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
Zec 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
Zec 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
Zec 3:5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
Zec 3:6 And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
Zec 3:7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
Food for thought.

Jer 49:38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD.
If you don't know, Elam is Persia Media.

Mic 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Isa 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

sa 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Isa 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Isa 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Zec 11:13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.

Psa 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

Psa 22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

Psa 22:1 ... My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Isa 34:20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

There is only one who has fulfilled all of these Old Testament prophecies.

Your verses can never take away the value and the message given in the verses I quoted. Facts are facts.

Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Act 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Act 2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Act 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Act 2:25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

Act 2:26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Act 2:27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Php_2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

You posting these verses has no significance to me or anything I've said. They do not contradict my point. If you were truly genuine you would of address the facts, not avoid them

Actions speaks louder than words, friend. I said after you. Put up or shut up.

Adam Clarke's Commentary on the Whole Bible:

Ezekiel 21:25

And thou profane wicked prince of Israel - Zedekiah, called here profane, because he had broken his oath; and wicked, because of his opposition to God and his prophet.
Whose day is come - Who in a short time shalt be delivered into the hands of thy enemies.

Ezekiel 21:26

Exalt him that is low - Give Gedaliah the government of Judea.
Abase him that is high - Depose Zedekiah - remove his diadem, and take off his crown.

Ezekiel 21:27

I will overturn - I will utterly destroy the Jewish government. Perverted will I make it. Heb. perverted, perverted, perverted I will make it.
Until he come whose - is - משפט mishpat, the judgment; i.e., till the coming of the son of David, the Lord Jesus; who, in a mystic and spiritual sense, shall have the throne of Israel, and whose right it is. See the famous prophecy, Gen_49:10, and Luk_1:32. The עוה avah, which we translate overturn, is thrice repeated here; to point out, say the rabbins, the three conquests of Jerusalem, in which Jehoiakim, Jeconiah, and Zedekiah were overthrown.
..............................................................................

Zechariah 3:1

And he showed me Joshua the high priest - The Angel of the Lord is the Messiah, as we have seen before; Joshua, the high priest, may here represent the whole Jewish people; and Satan, the grand accuser of the brethren. What the subject of dispute was, we perhaps learn from Jud_1:9. Michael and Satan disputed about the body of Moses. This could not refer to the natural body of the Jewish lawgiver, which had been dead about owe thousand years; it must therefore refer to that body of laws given to the Jews by Moses, for the breach of which Satan, who was their tempter to disobedience, now comes forward as their accuser; that, exciting the justice of God against them, they may be all brought to perdition. There is a paronomasia here: -
Satan standing at his right hand to resist him - שטן Satan signifies an adversary. לשטנו lesiteno, to be his adversary, or accuser.

Zechariah 3:2

Is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? - The Jews were nearly destroyed because of their sins; a remnant of them is yet left, and God is determined to preserve them. He has had mercy upon them, and forgiven them their sins. Wouldst thou have them destroyed? It is God that hath justified them; who art thou that condemnest them? The Lord rebuke thee! God confound thee for what thou hast done, and for what thou desirest farther to do! It is evident that Jud_1:9 relates to this circumstance - the very same phraseology which occurs here. See the notes on Jud_1:9, where the subject is largely considered. With difficulty has this remnant escaped, and God will not permit fresh evils to fall upon them, by which they might be totally consumed. This was Satan’s design, who accuses the followers of God day and night. See Rev_12:10.

Zechariah 3:3

Joshua was clothed with filthy garments - The Jewish people were in a most forlorn, destitute, and to all human appearance despicable, condition; and besides all, they were sinful, and the priesthood defiled by idolatry; and nothing but the mercy of God could save them.

Zechariah 3:4

Take away the filthy garments - The Jews wore sackcloth in times of public calamity; probably the filthy garments refer to this. Let their clothing be changed. I have turned again their captivity; I will fully restore them, and blot out all their iniquities.

Zechariah 3:5

A fair mitre upon his head - To signify that he had renewed to him the office of the high priesthood, which had been defiled and profaned before. The mitre was the bonnet which the high priest put on his head when he entered into the sanctuary, Exo_28:4, etc.
Clothed him with garments - Referring to the vestments of the high priest. The true high priest, who is over the house of God, will establish his office among them, when they shall acknowledge him as their Messiah, and seek redemption in the blood of the sacrifice which he has offered for their sins; and not for theirs only, but for the sins of the whole world.

Zechariah 3:7

If thou wilt walk in my ways - If ye, Israelites, priests and people, now restored to your own land, will walk in my ways, etc., ye shall be a part of my family; and have places - mansions - in eternal glory, with all them that are sanctified.

.....................................................................................Jeremiah 49:38

I will set my throne in Elam - This is spoken either of Nebuchadnezzar or Cyrus. It is certain that Cyrus did render himself master of Elymais and Media, which are in the land of Elam.

........................................................................................

Rom 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Rom 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

Rom 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Zec 6:9 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Zec 6:10 Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
Zec 6:11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
Zec 6:12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
Zec 6:13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
