Adopted Dogs

This summer I adopted two dogs from our local SPCA, they're 7 years old cocker spaniel sisters. We fostered them first for two weeks but they're so good! Lately I've been fundraising, first we did a walk for SPCA and I raised $444.72 and won a second place prize, $100 to a restaurant we like. Now I'm selling wooden wreaths to help a group helping senior dogs, and seniors with dogs! The first pic is when the SPCA found them (on my birthday), and then pics of me with them.

Changed their names to Keira and Jetta.

Aww this is so wonderful! :clap:

I'm so glad you did this. And adopted them together! I love when siblings can stay together. It really helps the bond.

Jetta doesn't really get along well with other dogs but is getting better! We kept them together because Keira is considered blind, and the SPCA wanted them together.

Last week we drove three hours (each way) to another SPCA and adopted an 8-year-old male Beagle we've named Snoopy... I had a Beagle as a kid and love them.

I just bought a puppy 2 days ago not knowing that I had really just saved it from the house I got it from. The puppy had scabs all over its back from the other dogs and she was barely fed as soon as we gave her food she mowed a bunch of food and milk fast.

That's so awesome. I feel God calling me to volunteer at my local SPCA. I always have a soft spot for dogs. You did an awesome thing adopting those two. I hope more will do the same.

I have a job interview at the local humane society today. I don't know if I'll take it if I'm offered, but I had a hankering to apply since some of my previous work history includes animal clinic work and zoo keeper work. Hmm

She is doing great. She put on some weight and behavior changed getting really happy and playful. I'm not sure the exact breed, I didn't ask, I just paid for it and my mom is the one that went and did all the other stuff. I know it was one of those small dogs. I think part [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]su < not sure the spelling,I'll find out. Now somebody else has it a safe good home.
