I was in Galveston just listening to the radio and different preachers this weekend, and it always gets me how these preacher sell things and use the word,'' Gift.''

To begin with, I already don't trust the guy because he just isn't being honest from jump street.

This one particular preacher who wanted a 75 dollar gift to sell you his book on Heaven and Revelation was just shocking to me in that he just didn't know what he was talking about, and to top that off, he wants your money to teach you what he has perverted.

For instance, the guy is using profound prophecies to prove that animals go to heaven.

He uses the scripture about how the wolf will lie down with the lamb, and he thinks this is talking about a wolf and a lamb.

Is it just me?

Who doesn't know who the wolf and the lamb are in this scripture?

But this is a big time preacher hadn't a clue, and then to sell his stuff for a gift.

I mean, if you want to write a book and make money on your book, do you really want to use a loophole in selling what you should be proud of?

It is so dishonest to me?

Is it just me, do people think this type of thing isn't dishonest?

And if you really want to teach the truth and give the truth to everyone freely, then why not just make an E~Book or give the truth freely in some kind of way?

It feels so creepy to me, every time I hear one of these preachers saying,'' and with your gift of 100 dollars, we will also send you a pen with Jesus name on it.''

Like a salesman, these people.

Dishonest or NO?

A certain man comes and says to a certain Rabbi in the Way, Rabbi, I will follow you wheresoever you go. And the Rabbi looks him up and down in spirit, and says to him, The foxes have their holes, and the birds of the air have their nests: but the Son of man has nowhere to rest his head. So the man having an overabundance of fowls in his heavens goes and makes for himself his own living by the way selling birds in birdcages: two tsipporim for an assarion, five tsipporim for two assarion; seven souls for three assarion. :)

Truth is all that matters, but we never find truth in the big churches and from the TV preachers who are caught up in a money thing.

Truth always seems to be found in very small places from person to person, and the person who should be preaching is always put in a corner, and the world thinks he's mad.

If they do not speak by the law and the prophets, they shouldn't even speak, and it is so shocking how so many will call the Torah a strange thing and then make it to being a preacher in control of a megachurch.

I shouldn't talk, I would never be brave enough to be a preacher in the first place, too much responsibility.

But when I see a preacher with a 100 million dollars in the bank, living in a million dollar home, driving 50,000 dollar cars, I only feel sorry for him.

How could a person like that ever experience what it is like to completely rely on God?

When Moses was asking Israel to follow him into a wilderness where there was no water, what was he asking of them but complete trust and reliance on God?

These preachers teaching prosperity are turning people away from great treasure that can only be found by complete reliance on God.

Preachers should be teaching the opposite to those who are in a position to give up everything.

People have to have houses to live in and if you have children, you have to take care of your children.

But if I was a preacher and a single young man came to me, I would tell him to sell all he owns and find a needy Jew, and serve that Jew.

To give up everything he has.

There is such a freedom found in doing this, you find that by giving up everything, that now, you own everything.

You make a big gesture to God in that way, and it is shocking how many people will find you and demand that you take what they are offering.

Be walking down a road with no money and a sudden hunger to eat, and a lottery ticket will be blown by the wind at your feet.

Give your car away and people will look at you as if your crazy and irresponsible, and then somebody will drive up in your driveway and hand you the keys to a better car.

By giving everything up, you own everything.

There is money everywhere, and there are cars everywhere, and the world has become your servant, driving your cars, and having your money in they pockets.

Acts 8
9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

I've got no idea, I Always thought we'd all become vegetarians in the 1000 years. Tell me.
I voted wrong. I voted before I read it, I didn't know it was for a book. Avoiding taks is great if it is allowed. The government is so greedy, people here gave money and the pastor couldn't even get a salary of 700 a month anymore, because the government wanted it. I don't give gifts to church to pay a government.

Ever learning never coming to knowledge...sad but expected

It's a pity that "television evangelist" has entered the language as a term symbolizing dishonesty; a lot of them have given people plenty of scope to come to this conclusion.

Once a so called prophet at a "service" gave out a cut up t-shirt he had worn and told the people to use it when they prayed...one of these people told me about it and was shocked when I explained to them they were taking part in witchcraft.

Sounds like Kim Clement.

That dude gets to me, I have been to a couple of his great prophecy sessions, and I used to think the guy was like a God, but the spirit he works in is not of God.

I would say not always...some are greedy...and forget the health and wealth movement...however there is nothing wrong with offering something in return...in fact in my state of Massachusetts one cannot solicit funds for any reason without offering something in return...it all falls under the panhandling laws.

I appreciate those ministries that do not push materials but offering them to any who may be interested is fine. The one's I most dislike are people like the 1,000 dollar seed man...he first claimed he needed 1500 people to make the commitment and after about 20,000 he was still telling people to send it in and their miracle would come (indeed, they would need one after that scamming or should I say fleecing)

Yeah, I don't like most preachers on Tv, but every so often we get really great prophets, healers one and all.

People like Robert Tilton who by the way is teaching again{just love his facebook}.

Great men like Peter Poppoff, and that miracle water, I tell everyone to order some, even if they have to sell they car, get all you can of that stuff, after all, you are no doubt gonna win the lottery.

But you can't win if you don't play.

Robert Tilton and Peter Poppoff is seriously the best memories I have in my life.

Me and my father is what I remember, we wouldn't go to sleep until we watched those, and they always came on late.

We just laughed and laughed, what a great showman that Robert Tilton{The farting preacher} is.

Yup, good times, good times.

It was better than Ed Sullivan.

How many people got this great prophesy in they mail box?

LOL!

Hear the word of the Lord concerning
you and your family.

Every blessing that you and your family take for granted and do not use to bless the name of the Lord, it shall be taken from you and them.

A space of time has been granted to you and and your family, to repent and take the blessings of the Lord, that have been given to you and them to bless the name of the Lord, that you do not use to bless the name of the Lord. To take them and bless the name of the Lord.

And when that space of time, that you and your family have been granted, has ended, if you and your family have not repented and taken all of these blessings of the Lord that the Lord has given to you and your family, to bless the name of the Lord, and blessed the name of the Lord with all of them. They will be taken from you and your family and given to another who will
bring forth the fruit of righteousness.

If you and your family do repent and do take the blessings of the Lord that He has given to you to bless the name of the Lord, and do bless the name of the Lord with them, as long as you continue to do so, they shall not depart from you. But if you return to your old ways and leave off from using the blessings of the Lord, to bless the name of the Lord, they shall depart from
you and your family, and be given to another to bring
forth the fruit of righteousness.

It is written....

the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away;
blessed be the name of the LORD.

It is written....

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

It is written....

Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
