1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first" (verse 16)
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
No rapture but when Jesus Christ returns to earth, it will be to set up the Kingdom of God on earth, not in heaven.
Daniel 2:36-43 seemingly implies that the worldly Kingdoms will last forever but reading Daniel 7:17-18 agrees with verses 44-45 that say God's Kingdom will encompass all of these previous kingdoms on earth!
Daniel 7:27 tells you where God's Kingdom will be and Zech 14:4-5 and who will be there.
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south.
"Thus the LORD my God will come, and all the saints with You." All the resurrected saints or holy ones will be with Him. 9: "And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be—'The LORD is one,' and His name one."
Matthew 5:5, "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."
Revelation 5:10: "And have made us [the saints; verse 9] kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth."
Rom 8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.
"Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10; Micah 4:8)
Obadiah 1:17, 21 Micah 4:1-2 Jesus Christ will dwell on earth in Jerusalem
Matthew 24:3 "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"
For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west; so also will the coming of the Son of man be. . . . Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. . . . But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. (verses 27, 30, 37; 39, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50)
John 14:3, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
(Acts 1:6). In Acts 1:9-11 This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."
