Jesus said, "It is finished." He did not say, "It is now possible, good luck."

I've never understood why so many people put more emphasis on Paul than Christ. When I was on my mission we had a lesson with a rather interesting nonmember. He had attended sacrament meeting with us earlier that day. During part of the lesson he talked about a talk thatwas given by one of the young men in the ward. The investigator said "What the boy said wasn't right. I know he quoted what Jesus Christ has said but it wasn't right because the quote contradicted Paul."
Why do so many Christians put more emphasis on Paul than Jesus Christ? Paul spoke on this in a letter saying he was glad he never baptized any of those who said they were of Paul. The 2 don't contradict so obviously it comes from people's misunderstanding of what Paul has said on different subjects.
I have ripped the writings of Paul from my Bible. He falsely taught a rapture which is never mentioned by Jesus. And he seemed to teach that we are saved entirely by grace and faith whereas the Revelation says that in the final judgment we will all be judged according to our works.
i humbly do not even think that Christianity and Paulism are reconcilable.Seriously.
