lol.
I'm not completely following you but it sounds like you're excited and
God's giving you some revelations and that is indeed something to
shout about!! lol.
I LOVE It when He does that. And it's always right on time!

Well I'm going to look up a few scriptures that have to do with going to the Father and asking...and what Jesus said about servants and authority. Alot is going through my head. I've laid hands on my children,my husband,my pets, even myself and asked God for healing...I've even spoke out in authority before but I have never incorporated the forgiveness of sins. Today I was about to lay hands on my husband and ask for his sins to be forgiven but then I was going to step out and take the authority...kinda like God telling me "I have already given you authority why are you asking?" That is where I started to feel the excitement like I was going to take a leap.
I've never laid hands on anyone except my family and yet this time it felt different.

The only time forgiveness comes up if I'm repenting or trying to forgive someone that has hurt me.

Forgiving someone that has not hurt me is quite the different thing. Jesus asked the Father to forgive those who put him on the cross...Stephen asked God to forgive those who were stoning him...but Jesus just stepped out and told others that their sins were forgiven...when they needed healing.

I'm someone that has struggled with forgiving others...and its the same couple of people that are not sorry or repentive..I have to ask God to forgive them and help me to love them more

But stepping out and laying hands on someone who has not sinned against me and say their sins are forgiven...THAT IS SO DIFFERENT!

Ohhh I see what you mean now.
But only God can forgive sin right?
That's why they accused Him of blasphemy
when He said that He had the power to forgive
sin. Because "Only GOD can forgive sin"

Are you talking about when Jesus told the Apostles that
when they forgive someone their sins are forgiven?

The Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary explains it this way:
Peace be unto you. As my Father hath sent me, so send I you-(See on [1918]Joh 17:18).
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
22. he breathed on them-a symbolical conveyance to them of the Spirit.
and saith, Receive ye the Holy Ghost-an earnest and first-fruits of the more copious Pentecostal effusion.
23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
23. Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them, &c.-In any literal and authoritative sense this power was never exercised by one of the apostles, and plainly was never understood by themselves as possessed by them or conveyed to them. (See on [1919]Mt 16:19). The power to intrude upon the relation between men and God cannot have been given by Christ to His ministers in any but a ministerial or declarative sense-as the authorized interpreters of His word, while in the actings of His ministers, the real nature of the power committed to them is seen in the exercise of church discipline.

"These people worship me with their lips but not with their heart"

Made me think of my personal relationship with another person. Because I have been cheated on and my heart has been broken over a dozen times now. I still love them but it's really getting bad here lol. Anywho I am told they love me all the time. But then when I find out they had relations with another person I can't help but think "You don't love me". So I think in that comparison it's fair to say that if you commit sin while saying you love God then maybe you should reconsider...

I think when it speaks about power it is speaking with actions. Through your actions God will work miracles, but through your words he will be silent.

John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my commandments"

God also knows our hearts...people don't know our hearts but God does. So for one to say "I love you" only they and God really know whether those words are true.

When I thought about forgiving my husband for sins he did not commit against me...love was the main ingredient and then excitement that I have never felt before....

No...I did not lay hands on my husband yet..not sure about all this...it is new to me....so I'm looking to see what others know.

I've laid hands on him before and prayed for healing...so far i have not seen any healings when I lay hands on him or my kids or my pets...neck aches and headaches have disappeared from my children but when I was reading the verses today on forgiveness and it is in conjunction with the laying on of hands i walked up to my husband and had a huge desire to lay hands on him in obedience and forgive him his sins...I have never felt this much excitement before...ever..it was I believe a rush kind of feeling...but I backed away and did not lay hands on him because I felt I needed to know more.

I'm glad that God has patience with me.

So you say that you havent seen any healings when you lay hands on him or the kids or pets.
?
But then you do see neck aches and headaches disappear from the children.
?
(am I following?)
Not sure what you're trying to say about the forgiveness,
but as for healing, you can lay hands on him and see healing.
It just says "These signs shall follow those who believe, they
shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover"

Scripture says that "As He is, so are we, in this world"

We can follow His examples from Scripture such as:
2And a centurion’s slave, who was highly regarded by him, was sick and about to die.3When he heard about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders asking Him to come and save the life of his slave.4When they came to Jesus, they earnestly implored Him, saying, “He is worthy for You to grant this to him;5for he loves our nation and it was he who built us our synagogue.”6Now Jesus started on His way with them; and when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself further, for I am not worthy for You to come under my roof;7for this reason I did not even consider myself worthy to come to You, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.8“For I also am a man placed under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.”9Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled at him, and turned and said to the crowd that was following Him, “I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.”10When those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave in good health.
God bless you!
