And what's his name in Sweden?
Odin is his name in the more northern scandinavian areas. In germany we call him Wotan. Its the same name basicly, just spelled different because of different dialect.

I still prefer our norse gods. None of them is a genocidal, evil, hatefilled monster like the "christian god"
So considering my Viking ancestry I got it right, Odin. Have you ever compared the Norse Gods to Christianity? Not this strawman mockery you proffer here, but the Truth?
If you do, you will find that it's essentially the same message, with one notable exception: my ancestors never had a decent role model to follow. Which leaves the door wide open for Jesus Christ to take the lead
I don´t follow a jewish zombie
i don´t see him as a role model for me. His passivity disgusts me.
Our nation, culture and soul is nowhere represented in the Bible. The bible is a middle eastern thing.
You won't last long on Cf saying things like that; you might take note of the rules?
Ok, so exhibit B that you have no idea what Scripture is talking about. (Exhibit A was what I quoted you earlier)
A middle eastern thing it is. IF you can get through all the surface layers, you can get at least past of the same message from the Norse traditions. Those are actually much more intuitive to me, due to the very reason you cite.
The Bible doesn´t even knows snow.

The bible actually knows nothing about germany at all.
Germans did exist back then. Or do you think we did fall out of the sky? We always lived here. And i know perfectly our religion. I have the Edda.
And i don't want to be cool. I say what i feel. The bible is ungerman.
Purely from curiosity, DOES the Bible mention snow?Completely false. Yet again, you show just how ignorant you really are, though you try to sound "cool"
How about Egypt?Nor did any other modern state.....with the exception of Japan and China,
Calling the Germanic peoples of the Norse era "Germans" is the same as calling the Franks "French". It's hopelessly anachronistic.
And...actually, no. No, you didn't. "Germans" are a product of the Nordic Bronze Age, the earliest manifestation of anything that even remotely be described as "German", being the Jasdorf-culture, which evolved out of the Nordic Bronze Age, under the influence of the Hallstatt-culture.
No, it is just not pro-German. I know that is a tough concept for some....
I live in Thüringen, the german central state. My people can be traved back long before christ, calling themself Thuringii.
Purely from curiosity, DOES the Bible mention snow?

How about Egypt?
Interesting claim. But OK.The country known today as Egypt only has the name in common with the ancient one. Culturally, linguistically, historically, it has 0 common points. Modern Egypt is an Arabic country, while Egypt at the time of Christ was...in touch with its ancient roots, though ruled by a Greek elite.
we never called ourself german and don't even do it today. we call is Deutsche.Actually, the Thuringii are late-comers to the area, at the end of the 3rd century. And calling them "Germans" is as anachronistic as calling the Franks "French".
See this post.

Not a matter of "isn't true". More a matter of, "being debatable".What do you mean "claim"? Which part of what I wrote isn't true?
On nothing. German is an english word. What are you on about??
