We are relaxing with TV and readng after a busy day of errands and chores; we got a lot done. :clap:

It was a cloudy day, but the rain held off; it was a perfect temp for walking

Hope its a little better, I have to go for my monthly blood check and it would be nice to walk in in the sun. Same here, though today I put away some very 'summery' outfits, and brought out more sweaters.
It will get progressively cooler here; we may see our first flakes later in October.
The colors are really starting to pop now,and the marshes are beautiful; peak foliage should come around mid October.
On our way back and forth from shopping we ran into more turkeys; no shortage of them this year....a small group walks through the yard every night

This time of year is so invigorating to all the senses :clap:

We had lower temps forcast for next week...now it is swinging around to triple digits.... :doh:

If we get that hot again I may ask for prayer...emotionally, I am "done" with the heat...LOL

I just saw a poor homeless dog running around this morning...a big white one...looks really thin now.

I got ya there....the hot drinks are the thing for your kind of weather...I drink hot tea in the morning...iced tea in the afternoon.

I have been doing iced in the morning, but will be switching soon

Decaffinated herbal teas are best at night for me.

I can't drink the herbal teas anymore for some reason...I will use decafinated teas...and a tea that is alkaline forming...been trying to drink more plain water...I seem to need that too. Although, I don't like plain water.

I drink flavored teas, more as it gets colder, hot. Coffee is my morning drink, but seldom more than two mugs. I force myself o drink water as well.

I love coffee, but limit myself to one cup every 2 weeks or so.....I force myself to drink plain water too...using a straw helps.

Had my monthly blood test this morning, last months were okay. Also had to sort out a prescription problem. Last weekend I ran out of my bloodpressure meds which is a rarity for me, after over 40 years of medications for kidney, heart and such I've never run out. It could be that this is a new med to my life. So, now I have a reserve as I do with others.

Tomorrow we are meeting a friend in town for coffee which we are looking forward to, he lives on one of the outer isles and has to come in for a dental appointment (pity about that) but that is the cost of living on smaller rocks in the sea

The pastor to this new church I have been visiting came for a visit today...all I can say is that I may have found a church home. What a surprise!!!!! Thank You Lord!

After my visitor left I sort have just done nothing...I did get nervous, did not eat much before he came...so now I am relaxing...I will be out a lot tomorrow.
Gracie gets her shot in the morning then some friends of Larry have invited us for dinner.

We will watch the football game tonight...there has been a lot of emotional highs and lows with the games so far...the regular refs were on strike :doh:

. They will return tonight! Mush to everyone's relief.

It is still hot here...we did not walk yet.
