What has God filled your heart with today?

The wonderful opportunity to talk to a beautiful woman in Christ about His work in our lives. Our friendship is unique as she is also my grandmother in Christ but is amazing how speaking to such a woman develops my confidence in the Lord as well as my trust in His direction for my life. What a blessing to have such people in our lives.

He filled my heart with His word and love through the love of a good friend. She reminded me that sometimes I just need to let go and hold on to the faith that I have found in Him. Yes, at the moment I am struggling but when my eyes are taken off me and placed on Him, I find the strength, wisdom and purpose to keep on going.

The understanding that it is ok to leave the past behind me and continue on the race He has called me to. It is blessing to know that He has a plan for me.

Today was a complicated day but I am learning not to avoid the battles but to grow and develop within them. I am also learning how to be honest to God. I know He wants to have a relationship with Him which is fearless and full of hope and love. This can never be without allowing God to see all that there is to me. I know that He sees it but He also wants me to share it with Him. It is not easy but David learnt how to do it (that is why the psalms are so real to us now). I want the relationship David had with God. I may never be queen but I am loved by God. Praise Him for that!
