And the article in the OP doesn't even mention Clinton/Lewinsky.

And Kermit is dead on, comparing today's news to that of 15 years ago is foolish at best. The media landscape has changed a bunch. It's apples to oranges.

Kermit used the words "before the Internet" That is not dead on

In case you missed it, the OP makes no mention of Lewinsky. That means that this is not about Drudge or Lewinsky

By your sidestep of my question, I have to conclude that you cannot provide any evidence that Drudge uncovered the Willey, Jones or Broaddrick scandals.

First, show me where I said Drudge uncovered any of those

It started when you mistakenly introduced Drudge and Lewinsky into the thread. If Drudge did not expose any of the three accusers in the OP, then your comment here is meaningless because kermit was not discussing the Lewinsky scandal. Jones initially sued Clinton in 1994 to an incident in 1991, and there was not much of an internet at the time, at least not as it is today.

Not much of an Internet is not the same as "before the Internet"

When Clinton incidents occured the internet was still mostly a novelty and not a pervasive presence like it is today. The same with the 24-hour news cycle; yes, CNN existed but at the time the vast majority of people got their news from the evening news on the major networks.

And the blogs weren't as popular (did they even exist back then?) as they are now.

obtuse thinking

Drudge did not hit the 'internet' until 1996. How did he expose the Paula Jones scandal again?

Did I say he did? Was there an Internet before Drudge? My liberal friends seem to be desperate to cover up the liberal media bias

More obtuse thinking.

Why did you even bring up Drudge if he was not responsible for uncovering any of these scandals?

I'll let you go back and figure it out for yourself. Enjoy
I already figured it out. You thought kermit was talking about Lewinsky so you made a mis-statement irrelevant to the discussion and now can't bring himself to admit he misread the OP and link.

What is relevant is why didn't the OP put the Lewinsky scandal in as a comparison? Most likely because there was far more coverage of the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal than what is now happening with Cain.

typical conservative manuever to only include the information which fits nicely with the biased point being made :D

OK.

Back it up ... that's the rule here. Prove that he denied it.

.

Well, here's a CBS/AP piece from 10/30/11, right after the Politico report:

(CBS/AP) WASHINGTON - Republican candidate Herman Cain is denying a report claiming he was repeatedly accused of sexual harassment.
In a statement Sunday night, Cain's campaign said a media report that Cain was accused of sexual harassment at least twice during his tenure as the head of the National Restaurant Association isn't true and represents unfair attacks.

Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon said the political press was "dredging up thinly sourced allegations" from Cain's tenure leading the trade group in the 1990s. Gordon said the report includes "unsubstantiated personal attacks" and said the press is "casting aspersions on his character and spreading rumors that never stood up to the facts."

Asked if Cain's campaign was denying the report, Gordon said, "Yes."

I guess, strictly speaking, it was HC's campaign staff that initially denied the reports. But he's the captain of the ship, and he answers for them. In any event, you can't deny that he's been less than totally forthcoming about this, and has come up with rather varying responses. Ultimately, it's up to the voters how they deal with it.

C'mon, jayem, did you even read your own reference?
"The statement, issued by Gordon, never directly denies the allegations."
