we filed today

I feeled like when my mother passed away. I feel sick to my stomach and have a bad headache. This was my fault I wanted time away and it turned into 5 months and now today we filed at the court house. I cried like a baby, but she was happy and Im the one that left I should be happy but im not. Do what whever you can to save your marraige dont feel like I do today. I hate my myself.

I just filed divorce myself.. but I was crying before.. now more peaceful..sigh.. but I do not wish all this stress and pain on anyone.. I did not want it either.. GOD knows your heart.. you can find rest in HIM.. for wherever you are in life.. not one of us can choose how it will all go.. but we can be content in GOD for where we are at any given time..

I will pray.. seek GOD.. HE is the only one who will not fail but also who forgives us for where we have gone wrong.. bless your heart..

HE can also comfort like no one else on earth..

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

I have been fighting this thing for years.. praying.. failing.. giving my all.. and on the day before I filed.. I just had the most horrible time.. inside myself.. because I have believed for healing for the longest time.. but we cannot save our marriage.. one person cannot.. only two together can keep it.. and everyone screws up..

But when I gave it all to GOD.. I mean the worry the pain which is way too much to carry it breaks your heart.. GOD gave me peace.. and HIS strength and help..

I know HE can for you too..

I know... when my husband said he did not love me anymore.. and told my parents that.. it cut deep.. but you know he was being honest and I do value that now... sigh..

I would rather have him tell me this to my face then go behind my back because he felt it.. it hurts alot.. but my husband and I are better as friends now.. you can see things differently down the road some..

I had to fight with the court front desk person over vehical vin numbers and it was a night mare to get it filed, once it was done I had a queen tostada and a margarita and chilled with my then GF now my wife. Getting the paper work filed was worse than the court date. I do remember being upset that the queen tostadas went up in price though.

Am so sorry to hear what you are going through, been going through the same myself for almost the last six months and I know how it can destroy you emotionally and physically :-( Don't give up hope, though, all of a sudden my soon-to-be-ex-husband did a 100% reversal and wants us to go to counseling together to try to save our marriage. God can really work miracles so just try to take care of yourself with sleep, exercise, eating healthy and keep praying...

It happens a lot, in all sorts of different things-- not just divorce. Ever lose a job, or have a deal fall through when you were trying to buy a house, or---. But since this is about divorce--- it happens because one partner wants the divorce and the other person doesn't.

I left 6 months ago because i could not handle marriage. I also met someone that filled my unmet needs. I know it was wrong I just wanted to feel romance that my wife did not give me. since then I have tried to go back but she only wants to be friends and continue divorce. she has talked to many me online and met one and repented for what she did and i forgave her but a week later she met another and has left the house. I have been staying there to feed the pets until she returns this week. better or worse, yes i did the worse but i wish she would have waited for me. I miss her but she does not want me anymore.Its hard to make it theu each day.

What has helped me most of recent is friends... keeping my life as busy as possible.. prayer and reaching out for help when I need it.. I am sorry for your pain.. it is a terrible thing to not be wanted for someone we care about.. GOD forgives you for all and anything you do wrong.. so you can be comforted in that area.. I know I too have done wrong... but we cannot go back.. I will pray for you..

Aww I am not probably the best one to pray seeing I prayed along time for my marriage/husband and now divorcing.. but I will pray... I have peace and joy now which I did not have back then when I was with him.. I had to let go... but i will pray that you clearly know what to do.. wisdom and all..

Sorry for all your hurt... I know how hard it is.. sometimes GOD changes us instead of other person.. sorry I cannot give you more encouragement..

Remember letting go to GOD casting all your cares to HIM doesn't mean you are giving up on things being restored.. it just means you cannot do and asking GOD to take over.. I know even now being divorced GOD can still work a miracle.. and the peace is precious.. GOD goes before.. HE is healing my heart.. and see because of what I went through I am here for you.. I've heard it said that it can take half as long as the marriage to grieve it after divorce. So, if you were married 10 years, it could take up to 5 years to complete the grieving process.

I think it's important to have a support group or some other source of support to help you through the process, so that you do not get stuck in any particular stage of grief.

I am praying that you will find your way through all of this to healing and restoration in your heart. :prayer:

Well, I will say that I don't think it's always the case. If the person has already fallen out of love with their spouse, the process is probably a lot faster. It was given as a general rule of thumb. YMMV.

LOL yeah actually it does. To be perfectly honest, I have a rather pleasant relationship with my husband (we are still legally married) right now. i'm not really "grieving" anything.

hello everyone, its been along time since I did a update. My divorce was final back in May. My ex almost came back 3 weeks agao but changed her mind 2 days later. Today she told me she was leaving the her roomate and moving back to the area and live with her old female friend. I made alot of mistakes in the past and I need to take it slow, i want to know im not the same man i once was. I know I have been double minded and it ruined my life. need lots of prayers and filling of the holy spirit to now be single minded with my eyes on Jesus. I want my ex to be happy and if its Gods will for restoration I want to do it. its scary it almost been 2 year this dec since i made the wrong decision to leave her. many sins were made by both while we were apart but God forgives me of all mine and I can also of hers. I want Jesus to be happy with me
