Just watched it tonight, this show pwns American Idol.

I really like who Adam Levine has picked so far, Jeff Jenkins and Javier Colon both have amazing pipes — they'd probably sound great together.

So what did you think of Blake's pick.

Personally, I don't think "The Voice" won that round.

Me neither. I was very surprised by his pick, and the only reason I can see for it is that he was more of a country guy. But I thought the other guy (can't remember his name) was a much better singer, more interesting entertainer, and did a better job on the song. Bad choice IMO.

The thing that struck me is Blake said something like "You listened to my coaching." Isn't that supposed to be the whole point of the show!?

Tyler/Patrick - Patrick won because he is more marketable, period.
I wish Vicki and Nicci could both go forward - they were awesome.....
Tim was amazing, and if I were the coach I'd rather work with him because he's more unique than Casey, but she was really great too.
I agreed about Frenchie going on - I just think she has something about her, a charisma that the other gal didn't have.
Man, all of these match-ups were close. The judges made it truly hard on themselves. Good show.

So far out of the people who competed today, I liked Vicki the best, maybe. I agreed with Ce-Lo about her. Second, actually I liked Tim, who is now gone.

I liked Casey over the male singer. I did not agree with Christina's choice at all. No.... I don't like Frenchie's style as much as the other singer--> She was awesome. I don't get it.
I could not pick over Nicci and Vicky!! I loved both. Nicci had my vote from day 1. I was sad he chose to pit those 2 between eachother.

I watched The Voice, and this show saddens me. They have COMPLETELY missed the point of music. I mean...drawing a boxing ring and eliminating one?!?? This is not what singing is all about. Somewhere hidden under it all, there is a SONG there. Some songwriter agonized over it. You need to feel the emotion, put it to sound. And they put these guys in a boxing ring and say, "Hey, you're going to face off. Who's going to achieve the big knock-out over the other?" Let's see who can scream the clearest high notes or can do the best runs. Yeah, that's what it's all about....

I'm glad we don't see this kind of stuff with Praise and Worship as much.

I kinda agree I always hate seeing good talent go home....I think they should stay on the show untill they get signed....now that would be a great show!!!

I started but have not yet finished watching this week's live show. So far everyone is doing well. I liked Xenia, Dia, and Lily a lot. I think I like Xenia the most, because of her awkward, quirky way paired with her unique voice. I think she does have star potential.
