Zamar,
Sorry but the "love of money" and other possesions is what Kenneth Copeland is all about. I have seen him many mornings and that is what he talks about mainly. I do not think he is an evil person but he is wrong.
"(Due 8:18 states that God gives power to optain wealth to establish the covenant)"
true God gives us the power to do anything. I do nto see the point.
"Where is the "rest of the Bible " does the Bible promote poverty?"
Some might promote poverty but I do not think that we have to be in poverty. But the reverse is not true either. God's concern is not to get us rich. Whether we are rich or poor we need to use what we have to serve the Lord and remmeber it is all His. The parable of the talents also was not just money. It was about all the talents that we have.
"You cannot judge people that you do not know."
They are public figures. I do not think that either one of us are judging their hearts just their tachings.
