Event Horizon and The Descent stand out in my mind. Mainly because they take place in relatively unknown environments, where anything could exist. I've heard good things about The Fourth Kind.

The fourth kind is more of a documentary than anything else.

Nothing really scary for me.

I LOVE horror movies, but the last really great one I remember was "Trick or Treat" .It kind of reminds me of the old school 1980's movies, a far cry from the "blehhh" ones that are prevalent today
Awesome movie.

I was awaiting the release of that one for a couple years and when it finally came out, I wasn't disappointed. Great atmosphere, with the vibrant orange, red and black colours throughout helping that along as well. I loved how all the stories finally came together the way they did. I think it's a movie that needs to be viewed more than once, to definitely be appreciated.

Trying to think of the last horror film I watched .... I think it was Dracula's Daughter, and it's been several months since I watched that. I was taken rather aback by the not-very-well-hidden lesbian subtext in the film. It was made in 1936 and is a sequel to the classic film Dracula with Bela Lugosi. I thought, "how'd THAT get past the censors?"
