Actually not. If you knew anything about me, you'd understand why I said what I did. I recently left my exhusband because he told me he liked little girls. When he was telling me about his past he said the fascination with young girls began when he was around 17 or 18 years old. As he got older, it got worse. Unfortunately I didn't learn about these perverted desire until a year after being married to him.These people need to take a looooong vacation
So yes, comments like that, raise a HUGE red flag for me. I find it very disturbing for a young adult male to be interested in a 13 year old girl. I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way either, I just happened to be the first to say something about it.

These are children we are talking about, and I for one do not sit around and joke about under age children.
So, please take the vacation until you are 18 and can post here.

Just for some clarification here: I actually AM 21 years old.
I will defend myself in the case that I don't think it's all that strange that I would find a 17 year old girl attractive. Please note that I am NOT attracted to her because of her age, but because she is genuinely physically mature and looks beautiful. I do not have any sort of fetish for children...gross!
Also, I am genuinely not much older than a 17 year old. I am 4 years older than her. My mother and father were 7 years apart when they married. Furthermore, 17 is very close to being considered an adult.
So if you think I'm being gross, maybe you should stop to consider you are being judgmental. I don't think I'm crossing any lines here. Furthermore...I feel the need to clarify that I am no sexual deviant! I've never even had sex so...whatever.

My parents are 9 years apart. What is your point?
As for a 17 year old, talking about a 13 year old...it ends there as well. We end this discussion now.

My point is, she is 17, end of it!!!
When she is 18, you can have the 4 years all you want.
If you were 17 it would have made sense as well.

It depends on what period of life the age difference takes place in and the laws in the area you live. I gave it some thought and I don't think being 21 and attracted to a 17 year old is abnormal. However, depending on where you live, you have age of consent laws to worry about. Here the age of consent is 16 years old but in other places it differs and can be higher, like 18 years old.
Obviously, being 17 and attracted to a 13 year old would be a 4 year difference that is not acceptable whereas being 25 and attracted to a 21 year old would be.
And being 21 and attracted to a 13 year old.... ew.

I don't think the discussion is over.
Why would one mere change in digit make things magically different? So because of one number, I go from being a pedophile to being acceptable? I don't understand that at all. I would understand if it were a 13 year old, since most people in general are not even close to being mature, emotionally or physically, at that age. But by one's late teens, that is not the case. So for that one year to magically make things ok, well, it seems a bit silly to me.
I find it hilarious how uptight people are about it. Do you realize that in many cases in the past, people would be married before they even reached 18? So it's only bad now because the law says so right?
Again, I don't believe I crossed a line.
