I find this parable of Luke 16 rather fascinating as it is the only place in the NT/NC that shows him and a people in a type of "hell". I also view this and most parables of Jesus as "Covenantle" and would like to know how others here view this "certain Man" in relation to the rest of the NT and OT, and particularly the book of Revelation.

I have it presented here along with the Greek text and would like to also study one where and how these words in this verse are used in the rest of the NT/NC of the Bible.

Thanks to any that post and give their views on this. God bless

If I'm mistaken, this differs from other parables in that person's names are used.
I find it interesting that "lazarus" is only mentioned in the Gospels of Luke and John and no where else outside of the Gospels.
I would say there is even a connection between John 11:39,43 and those 2 witnesses in Revelation.
I am studying on this now

John 11:39 Jesus is saying "take away ye!" the stone. Is saying to Him Martha the siste of the one having deceased "Lord, already he stinking, for it is fourth-day
43 And these saying, to a Voice great He cries-out "Lazarus, hither out!"

Reve 11:11 And after the three days and half-equal a breath of life out of the God entered in them and they stand upon their feet and fear great fall upon the ones observing them.
12 And they hear a Voice great out of the Heaven saying to them "ascend ye here!" And they ascended into the heaven in the cloud....

Whoa! The wording is powerful. Is there a version of the Bible that is similar?
Probably not. I generally use the Greek texts word for word as it appears in them.
Rotherham's and Young's LT seem to follow them a little better than most. You can view them here if interested [along with the greek texts]

Search for 'Genesis 1:1' in the version

Here is another interesting parable I found related to Luke 16:19 and this verse seems to closely resemble this passage in Zeph 1:7.
The greek word #1746 is also similar to the one used for the "rich-man" being clothed

Matthew 22:11 And into coming yet the King, to gaze of the ones the reclining, he saw there a Man/anqrwpon <444>not in-clothed/endedu-menon <1746> cothing/enduma <1742> of wedding-feast:

zeph 1:7 Hush! in presence of my Lord YHWH, that near Day of YHWH. That YHWH prepares a sacrifice,He sanctifies ones being called of Him.
8 And He becomes in Day of sacrifice of YHWH and I visit on the chiefs, and on sons of the King, and on all of ones being clothed clothing foreign. [Matt 22:11/Revelation 19]
