Do you want (or already have)?
What with our debate on the Duggars, I've been wondering how many kids the rest of you want (assuming you want any at all).
Assuming sufficient monetary funds to keep the kids clothed and fed and sheltered, what do you think is the perfect-size brood for you?
As for me, provided my Prince Charming ever arrives, I want to have somewhere between 4 and 8. I've always wanted a big family, so hopefully the future hubby feels the same. :)
What about the rest of you?

I already have one, and I'm happy with that for now. Since I'm past what "I" consider to be my prime baby-birthin' years, I probably won't try for any more children of my own, if and when I get married. I would love to foster parent, though; and I always leave room for God to work HIS will, regardless of what I want or feel right now :)

none. I really want the extra time it would give me to do other things. Im a dreamer, and im sure i would be using that time somewhere. I also dont want to have to deal with a totally nother personality in my household; I can pick my wife, I cant pick what type of children are birthed.

Do you want

None. I have always known I didn't want children, since I can remember. I was definitely born without the desire to raise children.

(or already have)?

I have one from a previous marriage, it was an accidental pregnancy, and it was the sole reason I married my first husband. I didn't make the right choice (I should have given her up for adoption, but my ex husband wouldn't hear of it -- understandable in a way, since we based a marriage on it). When she was born, my feelings about children unfortunately did not change at all despite my best efforts, and I was unable to bond with her. I voluntarily gave up full custody when we divorced and she is well cared for by her father, and I have no plans on any more children. :crossrc:

I may consider adoption or fostering of an older child down the road... but absolutely no babies.

I have two sons. I could say I have three kids if you count the boys' older half-brother from their dad's first marriage. I was his stepmom from the time he was just barely 2 years old until he turned 8. His mom and I agree that no matter who comes into his life via marriage to his dad that I will always be his stepmom. She knows how much I love her son and all that I did to care for him as if he were my own. I wanted 2 or 4 kids - but definitely an even number. I wouldn't be opposed to having more children - either biological and/or adopted.

:D It's my favorite "baby" word of his. He knows Skittles are called Skittles, but he thinks M&Ms are "Mittles". ^_^

Oh that is precious, lol. I love baby terms for things! Josh always called chocolate milk "chocky", and mashed potatoes were "mashy tatoes". Sometimes I still tease him, and I'm like "Josh, do you want some chocky?" And he gets mad and goes "It's CHOCOLATE MILK!" lol.

One of my favorites that's still current (shhhh) is that he constantly forgets the words "nostrils" and "nipples". He calls nostrils "snotrils" (which makes sense, right? they produce snot! LOL), and he calls nipples either "pimples" or "dimples" which just cracks me up.

I'm so glad he can't read this, lol.

It's funny - b/c I'm one of those people that always had a strong conviction that I would be a parent. It never really occurred to me that there would be people that were just as strongly convicted against having children. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it - just that I never really thought about it.
