Hi every one

Wow! We're getting posts in here! I'll have to come by more often, and see about having some hot coccoa for us here, for the weather is definitely getting colder!! Sounds like those boys had fun!!

Yep, and then it warmed up today. Geez, I'm so over this crazy weather.

yep, should be interesting to see who it is, and how people actually feel about who won.

I took the kids with me when I voted at 7 a.m. this morning. I kissed them all goodbye at school, and reminded them to not get upset by anything anyone says about any candidates, to not upset anyone else, and to not be upset if who they want to win (we let our kids cheer for whom they think is best) doesn't win. Then I came home and made more coffee...it's gonna be a wild ride.

I should add we sometimes see our Governor at church....small state and a small capitol city. He is up for re-election, so it isn't all Obama vs McCain here.

we have to vote on a senator, governor, assemblyman, and judge here.

my 5 & 6 yr olds are having mock elections in their classes today.
they both are voting for McCain. LOL! no influence by me BTW!!
Stephen doesn't like Obama because he "kills babies." (pro-choice & pro-partial birth abortion)...and, no....i didn't put those words into his mouth! I simply explained or tried to explain what "abortion" was. he sort of concluded those words on his own. smart kid!

I laughed when I read your post. My kids were talking about the election this morning, too. I think we're all tired of hearing about it and can't wait until it's over.

the boys just got home from school. they were both disappointed because Obama won in both of their mock elections!

nope...the porch is not finished, but very close.
my pictures of the porch are on my camera...hahaha! i will upload them soon and post them. maybe tomorrow.

I guess by this time tomorrow we'll know which direction our country will be heading. Either way I can't say it's perfect. Oh, well.

Love the way those kids think, marezee! Love the pixs of the porch. Glad it's almost done. Went this morning with my next door neighbor. She thought there'd be lines. There wasn't hardly anyone there. lol Told her that happens to me whenever I go to vote, but she didn't believe me until we showed up. Had breakfast afterwards. Talked about the news in the paper I'd brought. Felt like everything at that point was anticlimatic. We'll see how things go....

anticlimatic is a good word. thanks about the porch. i love it too and cannot wait to put a rocker or swing on it.
