Sorry, I meant "non-English speaking" countries. Their people do not visit this forum.

So language is the barrier? Non-English-speaking countries are different, regarding Christian beliefs, in a substantial way? Tell that to the Vatican.

That's preposterous.

Correction: On this forum, one often finds one creationist arguing with a dozen or more people who accept evolution, including many Christians. Not all religious people find modern science to be in conflict with their faith.

I don't know. In this particular forum, I kind of think if a person argued against me, s/he is an atheist. I seldom talk about religion in this forum because people would insult me when I started to relate science to it. That is a typical atheistic behavior.

OK, my mistake again. I am going to shut up on this. It is hard to express what I mean precisely.

Then you are mistaken. Many people here who accept evolution are not atheists. In fact, there are more Christians who accept evolution than there are atheists total. Granted, there are more atheists here than in other corners of the forum, but that is because by and large we are not allowed to post elsewhere.

Why did you watch it? What did you think you'd gain?
I wanted to see exactly what its critics were talking about. And believe me, they didn't touch on half the things that were wrong with it. In fact, I can honestly see Expelled being used in classrooms as an example of blatant propaganda, and biased, deceitful reporting. It continually, and I do mean continually, inserted clips of the Berlin wall and other suppressing events in history as being on par with to science's refusal to consider ID a valid topic of investigation.

Why? Because you are the infallable theologian?

I seldom talk about religion in this forum because people would insult me when I started to relate science to it.
Insult you because you talk about religion? Or because you portray the same behavior in that is you do in all your other posts?

That is a typical atheistic behavior.
Nah, that's typical behavior of people who are getting tired of having a long post with arguments answered with a single one-liner devoid of information and filled with an arrogant "I know and you don't" attitude.

Well that's a rather silly assumption, don't you think? Especially given (a.) how often religious people disagree, and (b.) how many Christians accept that evolution happens.

I seldom talk about religion in this forum because people would insult me when I started to relate science to it. That is a typical atheistic behavior.

Way to stereotype. Also, "calling you out on saying something incorrect" isn't the same as "insulting you." (Admittedly, some individuals may choose to do the former in an insulting fashion, but the point stands.)

Really? *points to her flag*

Do you mean "countries where English isn't the official language" or "countries where people stare at you stupidly when you say something in English"? (Actually Hungary would almost qualify as both ^_^)

Whatever you said, I would still treat them (include you!) as atheists until I see otherwise explicitly. This is my default attitude in this forum.

I'm sorry, that attitude is plain stupid. (And fallacious. You've heard about the No True Scotsman fallacy, haven't you?)

Not to mention that it implies that you automatically question the honesty of anyone with a theist icon that accepts evolution.
