While not a lady, I liked #8 and 10.

I would add that women who wear pants are 87% less attractive.

The whole idea of women wearing pants started from women who wanted to be like men.

Opposites attract, not likes (sames).

except i found out a few weeks ago that it is in fact harder to do prostrations when wearing a skirt
i like pants cuz they keep my legs warmer

So true! So many times when there were prostrations during services, my heels would get caught in the skirts (long skirts) and I have to quickly remove the hem of the skirt from my heels before it pulled the skirt too much.

However - I love skirts! So comfortable too...

Julina, about prostrations... I've actually found the opposite!
maybe my skirt was a just a little too tight. i almost fell when i got up! i was afraid of holding everyone else up!

I wear mostly pants in my daily life but only skirts to church

I vote for long dresses or jumpers...they just do not "pull" down" and I do not have to mix and match them....;)...This winter I am making few jumpers for me and my daughter... I am not a pants person but ... I can wear them under my dresses... with boots....for warmth can I?

For me, prostrations are easy in a skirt - I learned how to prostrate so that it's almost like bouncing to the floor and back, keeping the hem clear of my shoes and keeping my toes curled around to make it easy to get up. I learned all this after plenty of accidents, though. Practice makes perfect.

Damaris can you teach me? My current 'plan of attack' is just to wear my skirts incredibly full. That appears to work, because if the hem is nowhere near my feet I can't step on it.

Also, skirts rock. I don't wear pants out of the house pretty much ever without a dress or skirt over the top, unless it's to grab milk or something. I love dresses in summer, so nice and cool....

That article was neat!

Well, at least I know I'm not alone in almost wiping out during prostrations due to my skirt!

I went through an "all-skirt all the time" phase, but just couldn't remain faithful to it. So now it's just skirts (or dresses) to church and pants pretty much everywhere else....well, except for the Renaissance outfit in my profile pic. :) That was at the St Louis Zoo.

I've been meaning to wear more skirts for a long time now (not just for church). I don't know why I haven't gotten around to it. Of course, on a daily basis, it doesn't seem terribly practical to wear a skirt for playing on the floor with my toddler. But I guess I don't have much of an excuse when I go out. The biggest challenge would be in winter. It gets very cold here and tights just aren't enough to keep my legs warm.

women used to wear type of "underpants" under their skirts in the ancient times... Men did wear skirts though that is for sure.... Calm down Justin... ;) kilts (spelling?) are a national men's dress in England... Is it not???

Goodness gracious! Edit while you still can. I know some Scots who could kill you for that :p:D.

Yeah. He'll be kilt fer sure. :p

If women can imagine how they would feel about men wearing and talking about skirts, they can have an idea of what I feel about them wearing pants. For me they really do lose something in the femininity department. Not that it's skirts per se. But it's about being different - saying that we are not the same in something important.
