This is an email that I have been forewarding round my friends.. I would like to test it out on this forum to see if it works..
Hi guys.. ok I know this is a group email, but it is a serious one, so dont delete it please?! I would very much like it if you could pass it on to people and pass it back to me.
Right explanations..
there are two reasons for me sending this mail.. the first is. I have been feeling like I should pray for the cast and crew (yup all squillians of them) of the Lord of the Rings.
Then I hear that John Rhys Davis who plays Gimli the Dwarf has just had a major accident in croatia where he was filming for his latest "musketeers" film. Some heavy set pieces fell on him and damaged his arm his lungs and his head. He had to have a major operation on his skull, and his arm is fractured but there doesnt seem to be any broken ribs.
I think that God was warning me that this was going to happen so I could start praying early. Since then he has begun to recover (the accident was 2 days ago) and is now out of hospital which is pretty rapid considering how severe the injuries appeared to be. So God has already begun to answer my prayers.
The other reason for sending this email is that I am working on a prayer website www.prayforbritain.co.uk where people post what they want prayer for and then everyone posts their prayers for the subject underneath. But I have no idea if it will work. so I thought that this would be a good way of finding out if it does.
So what Im asking you to do is this..
If you feel moved to pray for him or any of the other people involved in the film (or generally tolkien fans worldwide because it would be ace if they could discover the blessings that God has put into that book) then post your prayer/prophecy below copy and paste the whole thing onto a fresh email and foreward it on.
It can be a whole load of stuff or just a line or a word, whatever you feel led to put.
I have an email address for John Rhys Davis and a number of other people involved in the film and I might be sending them some of the prayers to let them know that people are wanting to bless them. But generally I want you to send it back to me so that I know the system will work ready for when the website is up and running...

1>Lord God I ask that you would bring your healing to John and that you would over rule the filming schedule for this film so that he doesnt feel pressured to return to work before you know he is ready. I ask that you would use this time to bless him and build him up and make him stronger in himself both physically mentally and spiritually.
Please bless all those who were involved in the filming of the Lord of the Rings and bring them closer to you.

2)Dear Father,please will you make John better soon and i pray that You will meet him in a powerful way so that he may know Your love for him,thankyou Lord, and thankyou for him and the part he plays. Please will You put Your hand of blessing over all of this wonderful project and everyone who is involved,that through it You may be glorified and You may speak to millions of people. Thankyou so much Father for inspiring Tolkein in the first place,and thankyou that Peter Jackson is producing these films in such a sensitive way. Thankyou for the character of Gandalf.Please may You shine through him,especially when he comes back to life in the next film, that people may be inspired to think about Christ. May the beauty of Your utter goodness and Life shine through these films,
