I have had some pretty neat dreams. But I do not as often see visions. Most of the visions I have seen, have to do with the Blood of Jesus.

I hear of people who have seen angels that are as real to them, if not more real then people. I am aware often of the presense of Angles, like when we worship. I can see their power sometimes, but I have no idea what they actually look like. They tell me that if you can see the angels, you will be able to see demons also. As wonderful as it is to be able to see an angel, I am told it is just the opposite to have to see the demons.

This thread makes me think of when I was about 10 years old. I started having dreams that would later actually come to pass. Not knowing anthing about this possibly being a gift from God, I got a secular book from the school library. My Aunt found the book and told me that this sort of thing was from the devil. I have had these dreams off and on ever since but always most often when I am the closest to God. It wasn't until I was 38 years old that I learned that they are a gift from God and that they don't come from the devil. As to "seeing" spirits, good ones or evil ones, this is called the gift of discernment. I don't think it necessarily means that you see spirits in any particular shape- just that you know of their presence and whether they are good or evil. I know that back in September I "saw" an evil one. I was having a conversation with someone and she was professing one thing with her words but the spirit emanating from her was the exact opposite of the love she was claiming to feel. To me, the evil spirit in her might just as well have been actually visible. It was that real. Had it not been for the knowledge, "greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world..." I would have been very frightened.

I know i've had dreams, and a few visions. The only time i've seen angels was in a dream. There were two angels standing on a platform looking over me, and I was just below the platform reading from a book that was written in a language I have never seen. I didn't pay much attention to what they looked like though, I was more concerned about what I was there to read.

The last vision I had was while I was praying for my brother. I saw a clay figure standing, with its hands stretched out at it's side, It's mouth wide open as it looked straight up in the air as if it was shocked by what it saw. it's head broke off and fell to the ground, and then the body crumbled to pieces.

I have seen angels.. and I have seen demons.. but thankfully only a vague awareness of where they are and a sort of shadowy form in my minds eye.. I dont think I could have coped with anything worse, so God kept it light.. I have seen angels much more vividly and sometimes only as vague patches of light again in my minds eye.. full-blown visions not always being appropriate. I have posted my memories about them on this forum before.. If you are really interested I will write them again.. but they are long stories so be warned. ;)

I think perhaps we have all seen both Angels and demons (fallen angels) at one time or another, perhaps unawares. We know that Angels have a ministry in our lives and have also the ability to bee seen or not depending on the circumstances at the time and the will of the Father.

I know the Angel that drug my son across a highway was not sen but left ample proof that he was there. Sure I know an angel could easily pick up a person and carru them, but if this Angel had done that there would not have been the visible proof. Like the scuffed heels of the shoes while the pants were not. Nor would there have been the further evidence of no footprints in a high grass and soft ground area where he was layed. Nor any of the other proof we found that it was indeed an Angel.

In the dream I was studying a book, The angels were there to guide, teach me, and help me understand. I couldn't see their faces, but they were very large and wore long gowns.

lately i have been having very odd dreams, and i've been thinking that's it's the Lord's way of communicating certain temptations that might be coming into my life in the near future.  they range from things that i often struggle with, like lust, to things taht i've never even encountered in my life or would even think of trying, like drugs.  very odd, but it makes me aware of things that i prospective sinful situations i might fall into... Praise the Lord!

God Bless!

I was praying that I wouldn't be angry with him, for something he did that hurt me. And I was asking the Lord how I should handle it. I just wanted to be able to forgive him mostly, I knew I wouldn't be able to without Gods help.

After that I had to remind my brother of who he needs to answer to, but I'm afraid my words only fell on deaf ears. I'm afraid God is already angry enough with him, to where I don't have to be. I'm more worried about what might happen to him if he doesn't turn back to the Lord now than anything.

Yes, and have been shown the meanings of some of my own as well as some of others. I think you are right and that asking God to reveal His message is good advice. Obviously there is a message in the vision of the clay figure. I'm sure the clay figure is the brother and that the fact that he was looking upward at something that astounded him means that he will see the truth. What is left to wonder over though, is what the rest of it means because it's subject to more than one interpretation.
